I so hate to miss this ride. But baby sitting the little grand baby is too much fun and worth it though. So be safe and happy new year all! Pain. <>< ;)

Anybody seen the forecast- damn it! 50% chance of snow here, 70% chance of rain for Jackson. Sunday looks a bit warmer and only 20% chance of rain. Can I vote to change to Sunday?

Bug, you could bring rain gear ...........in your purse.

:D
Besides, it doesn't REALLY rain in NorCal. IF you want to ride in REAL rain you should visit British Columbia.....it REALLY rains there.....and....they have wooden bridges to multiply the fun quotient.

Fer goo'ness sakies, goe en bye yerseff a coupl-uh garbage bags en some duck tape. Yew kin mek yer own rainsuit.

  I got your purse right here buddy :p

It ain't the rain for me but more the overnight temps of 20 plus the forecast of ice/snow in these parts that suck. It's abit cooler up here at 3k feet you flatlanders ;)

Sorry guys / gals, we're out, forecast here is 80% rain. Last trip we were on was 4 days of rain and 6 hours of sun, ao we're rained out and will wait for good weather. Have fun you brave souls and we'll catch you on the next one. ;)

Gunna miss you, Dave.

Gunna miss Di's New Year's hug more.

Don't blame yuh, neither.

I'm keeping an eye on the forecast, crossing fingers, toes, eyes and legs while hoping....

It may be a case of waiting until Saturday morning and seeing what transpires.

Of course, a few of us rode int eh rain a couple of years ago, following some itinerant Auburn resident all over the hills north of town, so we're already known to be a little "touched".

Who knows, we might just show up for coffee, just for the bragginf rights!

Uh, NorCal Dudes: You do know if you don't ride, you are going to get the "evil stink eye" from Fairlaner; no one on the planet does a better "evil stink eye" than Richard.

A little bit of rain on the roadways wouldn't stop a pair of BMW GS riders like SkooterG and Papa Chuy! Bugnatr, does your purse match your riding gear? jes' sayin'

I'm still in but driving the truck. Snow on the ground hear and I've already made my reservations for a bed at my buddy's house in Amador City after tonight's festivities.

OK Brad, come clean: Are you, or are you not, sleeping with Old Michael? The poll is at the top of this thread. Jeez Marie, I just can't believe that only Bokerfork, Brian-FJRONAMISSION and Papa Chuy are sleeping with Mick; I don't trust HYCLE'S vote on this!

Rain or shine I will be there on Saturday. Come by car, truck or moped, just show up.

New Years ride is on New Years Day. That is Saturday Jan. 1, 2011.

Meet up at 10820 Olson Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 (Starbucks)

Kick Stands Up (KSU) is 10:00 am PST.

Ride whatever way you want to go to Jackson Rancheria, 12222 New York Ranch Road, Jackson, CA 95642

Meet up at motorcycle parking area, lower level, parking garage for tire kicking session. 11:00 to 11:15.

Wander into Casino and have lunch, at the buffet, or lose your lunch money playing video poker.

After stuffing yourself beyond reason you will want to go back to the casino, to try winning back your lunch money.

Some will want to eat less and ride more, don't be surprised if people disappear while I stuff my face with food.

Some folks will want to spend the afternoon riding cool roads and I will leave that up to Rich, Mad Mike or whoever wants to lead the way.

I may spend the afternoon gambling away my unemployment check or filling out job aplications as a parking attendant.

I expect to see small groups coming from far and wide to meet at the Casino. Some may come by car, truck, or the gambler special bus.

However you get there, just do it.

Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Mike
See You Saturday......

Can I bring a date?

If you don't see me look for this beauty by OM's bike.

Don, I have several purses which all match my riding gear. :p

It's the forecast of snow and ice that will make me pull the plug. We'll see in the morning.

Ice on the roads this morning already have vehicles into ditches and trees. 28deg on our patio this morning. Gonna freeze tonight also. We'll be trucking it. Plus ... Deb's just coming out of a bad cold and doesn't want to cram a Shoei over her poor congested head :(

28F? You need to come here and warm up! 29F in light snow.

Ice is not good. One small patch in a shady spot and you are in a ditch. Good decision Rog and Happy New Year!

Out here, too. Too much rain riding experience in the last two years to want to start 2011 in it. Champagne and movies at home tonight. Snow may dust the valley floor tonight. Will probably get out of bed late tomorrow. You guys and gals have lotsa fun for us wussies that don't make it. :)

Whew !! Here's me thinking I'd be flamed for being a wussie in a truckie

So .. who we got now ?

RogDeb

Hycle

Uber

Boker

OM

SacMike ?

MM2

Gfran ?

Broodwich ?

Huskyrider ?

Lunch WILL be good :)
