Howie, I'm not an "I told you so guy". But........ :))It's 10 freakin' years old for Christ's Sake! :))
Vic, you want to know how damn cheap that ******* RadioHowie is: RH will fart on a rock to save the grease and he uses both sides of the toilet paper! JSNS!
Ahhhhhhh.... Just like we had to do in the Navy. I miss those days! :)

You soft Navy guys had it so freaking easy, in my US Army days we Dogfaces only got corn cobs or old sandpaper to wipe our ***** with! JSNS!

Don the Army gave you three meals a day and a place to sleep, but there ya go complaining 'cause the sandpaper wasn't new.

So far, nuthin' yet...still putting the 'tender on at night, with a great start cycle in the a.m.

Can't stop for ANY reason on the way home, or it won't start again without a re-charge.

Trying to narrow down my choices for a Yuasa...last night attempted to pull the Yuasa outta my ZRX but it was about 3/8 of an inch too thick and wouldn't fit into the battery tray on the FJR. And with step-daughter boyfriends, husbands and concubines rummaging around in my tools, couldn't even find a 10mm socket to pull the tray out to whittle out the lip to make the ZRX battery fit. Probably gonna order one online tonight from Amazon.com...$93...dry-shipped with DIY acid.

That's what I've got in the ZRX and it's 12 years old and going strong, but only at a third of the mileage.

majicmaker and beemerdons are starting up an FJR Forum fund drive to buy RadioHowie a new battery for his FJR, but it must include transportation expenses from West Palm Beach, Florida and Chandler, Arizona. Because once Vic and Papa Chuy get to Winter Haven, Florida we are immediately going to shove that new FJR battery right up RH's fat old ***! jes' sayin' and nuff said!

Better see if you can get a two-fer discount. Have a feeling you'll be repeating this exercise shortly.

I'm not kidding, 'Owie. I gots a perfectly fine 06 gen 2 battery powering up my Mowie-Mowie Sears Craftsman 1987 vintage riding mower. It's yours if you want.

Of course, you will need to ride non-stop on that points-powered Gen1 to get it! :)

You better quit f-ing around. You're going to over-work your charging system with that POS battery and burn out your stator.
Phil, now you're getting into the world of common sense! Pffft, like that's gonna happen. It's Howie, for Christ's Sake! :))
Phil you do have to admit that majicmaker is 100% correct, that would be an oxymoron! With Common Sense being the Oxy and RadioHowie being the Moron! jes' sayin' and nuff said!

Well Folks since it is now dog pile Friday, Papa Chuy Viejo just has to ask this important question: Did someone finally smother RadioHowie with a pillow or did his Royal ******* Highness finally wise up and get a new battery for his FJR? Inquiring minds do want to know! jes' sayin' and nuff said!

I think he sprung for the battery, but he doesn't want to admit to us that he actually spent the money. In fact I think he's a millionaire with a trophy wife and mansion on the Florida coast in real life.
