I wanted to take one more opportunity to say "thank you" to the members of the group who pitched in and made this year's FJR1300 Eastern Owners Meet a huge success. This type of event doesn't just happen - it takes countless hours of prep work and

Kristen (asdgirl), Bryce(tangobravoyankee), Allen (Allen_C), Bob (Intech), Kevin (Fencer), Gerald (clocklaw) and Brenda, William (Calimus), Lee (leedavis) - there were many more who pitched in at the rally to help with details as well.

These individuals spent time behind the scenes in the months prior to the event to ensure the event; from the information posted on the forums, to putting together the materials that were handed out, to registration, the 50/50 raffle, door price raffle, etc.

I need to really put Gerald on the skyline - he took on the swag master duties and knocked it out of the park. That is one aspect of the rally that takes so much time and effort, and the fruits of his labor showed. He was also instrumental in tracking down a local business to procure the rally shirts from as well. Thank you!!

Please - one last round of applause !!!

Wayne

Mostly I just volunteered Kristen and hung around trying not to be too much of an *******. So I want to give my heartfelt thanks to everyone else that worked their ***** off to make this happen. This was the first EOM I've been able to attend since '09 and it was every bit as fun and memorable. I look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Glad to hear it turned out so well!

+1 I really appreciated all of the people who had a hand in putting this event all together. THANK YOU!!!!

Thank you all, it was a spectacular event! I had a great time and truly appreciate all the hard work that went into making this happen. To have the swag giveaway go on for as long as it did was impressive. Lastly, thank you Wayne for continuing on with the charity that this event is associated with, Jordan's Initiative.

This event was awesome! I did my little bit to help and it was rewarding. My first two EOM's I said: What?! Me?! Help?! I wanna ride! I was a Noobie. Now on my third, having slayed the dragon about a dozen times, I felt it was time for the real Noobie Noobies to go have some fun while some one else did the stuff that needed to get done to make this thing what it turned out to be. Loved every minute of it. :D

Thanks for letting this non FJR riding FNG get in on the volunteer action! I enjoyed every minute of it and was so happy to finally meet everyone this weekend.

I've already told Wayne I'm down for helping out for next year's EOM ... but I'm still undecided on my vote for where EOM Fifteen should be held! (NOT NORTH GEORGIA!)

Again, thanks to everyone else that helped out this weekend, we could not have done it without everyone working together.

And thank you Wayne, for continuing to get these things going!

I applaud all the effort and work as well. Thank you everyone involved!!!!!!

Everything including the area was perfect! ...well, maybe the ban on our personal beer/alcohol consumption within the premises/parking lot was a buzz kill ;)

Thank-you Wayne!

Thank-you Lee!

Awesome weather...awesome routes(this cannot be overstated, CANNOT.)

Awesome friends, newly found and old reliables.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all that made EOM possible. I tried to thank each person personally, but I probably didn't hit all that helped... so, thank you.

I had a great time. Thank you all for your time and effort to make things go so well!

FWIW, the lady working the desk on Friday night said she had no idea WTF the Thursday night guy was talking about with the beer and coozies. AND, if I NEVER see another GoldWing Trike doing 20 under the limit, that will be too soon.

Seriously...Doing all you guys did and doing it without any major issues is a feat. It was like a slightly oiled machine.
