I can just hear the whining over the intercom now: "Are we there yet? I'm tired. I have that knot between my shoulders. Oh, so that is what monkey butt feels like. Everything hurts. I need to pee." I suspect that will last only the first hour though until Colleen tells me to shut up.
Dave, now that was funny.

I might be just a little jealous...enjoy!

Did the Grand Canyon, Route 66, Bryce and Zion loop a couple of years ago... Have a great time. My only advice is to avoid riding at night in southern Utah. I have never seen so many dead deer alongside the roads as I did on that trip. They were everywhere. Enjoy... Rich

Is it time to go yet?? (at 2:00 today it will be)

For those that want to follow along, the spot tracker link in is the first post.

We left Pasco, wa at 5 AM and pulled into Williams, AZ at 11:11 PM. 1160 miles later. It's bedtime!

Incredible, and Congrats to all of you, especially the ladies! Two up and with trailers?

Yesterday he had some couple from Germany try to push him forward at the gate to get into grand canyon NP. Tweaked his knee a little, but he didn't tip over despite their best effort to knock him over. He is doing fine now.

So we are in Torre, Utah tonight and tomorrow we are taking him down the Burr Trail. We ran into a local lady that gave some very good tips where to stop and look at things. Boosted his confidence on getting through. That and his knee is doing much better today.

Yesterday was a great day and full compromise. Did the Burr Trail, headed for the ferry at Powell Lake. Got there and the ferry was broken down and would be out for several days. That meant a 100 mile detour. Headed for Natuarl Bridges National Park. Fuel was getting close. Nearest gas was 40 miles away in Blanding. We get into town and the power was out in the whole town. Another audible for the plan. Called the KOA in Moab got a place to stay. Means four corners is out and we decided we'll catch the million dollar highway will be another time too.

Today is Arches and Canyonlands. Tomorrow headed for Grand Tetons.
