Fountain of sorrow, fountain of life, you've known that hollow sound of your own steps in flight.. you've had to hide sometimes, but now you are all right, and it's good to see your smiling face tonight... (Jackson Browne, The next voice you hear)

Can't say the words better..

Chris, Tim's brother, sent email. A closure of sorts, for Patti. Chris may or may not be able to attend, due to weather and not feeling well.

The locals, however, were up to the ride and celebration of Patti's life. Fairlaner and Mrs. Fairlaner :yahoo: , MCML and gfVal, Duff, were the crew.

RIP Patty. :(

Man...that picture of Tim...he looked so....nerdy. I are an engineer and I never looked that nerdy. I was looking for a pocket pen protector. :D

Tim and Patty, gone from here...way too soon.

Thanks carver for the post and report.

It was the perfect day to remember Patti, because the day was so much like she was: Sunny, bright, warm and full of life. Like our time with Patti, the day came to an end much to soon. I'm glad I was able to spend the day with such good friends.

We must get together more often...

Nice write-up, Carver. Thanks for sharing.

Wish I woulda been around here earlier... Tim left us not long after I joined here.

Good stuff guys. Thanks.

PS: Don, looks like your Duc could be a monster too.
huh?
Thug - great to hear from you!

It was a fun day. Today is another brand new one, one I've not lived before. Think I'll go for a ride. Cause I can!

Hard to believe they're both gone. Well, we shall all follow soon enough.... Thanks for the ride report. Enjoyed it.

"An interminable train of souls pressed on, so many that I wondered how death could have undone so many." Dante upon entering the underworld, The Divine Comedy.

So tell me, point blank honest.

Look at Patti's pix posted earlier on thread

..read these words -

Looking through some photographs I found inside a drawer

I was taken by a photograph of you

There were one or two I know that you would have liked a little more

But they didn't show your spirit quite as true

You were turning 'round to see who was behind you

And I took your childish laughter by surprise

And at the moment that my camera happened to find you

There was just a trace of sorrow in your eyes

-Jackson Browne

accurate?

For me, yes, I almost lost it when I saw that pix.

funny how some pixs invoke deep soulful emotions.
