Can I 'dibs" the can protectors? They would fit "Holeshot" cans wouldn't they? Happy to come to some arrangement re: freighting/postage to Australia.
If successful....I won't be home for another 2 weeks. Will have to rummage around the garage and see what I can find. Does the PIF have to be motorcycle related?
I don't see why it would have to be motorcycle related. As long as it's something cool. Being that we all ride FJR's its just easier to assume that FJR goodies would be attractive to most folks.
Most here have other toys like boats, houses, girls women, dirtbikes. I suppose anything widely desireable like a starlet in skimpy clothes would be fine, folks agree?

I have the small Yamaha sport tank back w/ map pouch. Came with the bike when I bought but I now have a Nelson Rigg and will probably never use the small one. I have only used it a couple of times and still looks new.

Oooh, that sounds like something I could use. PM sent.

I have a brand new Givi V46 cover (flat black) that was taken off when brand new to install my color match bass boat blue cover. It would be good for someone that wanted to install a luggage rack to the top of their trunk, but didn't want to mess up their existing lid. Or if your current lid is already FUBAR, a nice new replacement!!

One of these lids in pebble finish black:

I'm feeling like maybe the V46 lid might be worth a bit less than the tank bag being offered, so I'm sweetening the deal. I'm also offering a pretty cool video on DVD as a PIF. It is put out by DualSportRiding.com and this video is the one called "Dial Sport Riding TECHNIQUES.

Here's the lowdown on the DVD: Clicky

I watched it, enjoyed it, don't see any reason to keep it now that I don't have a dual sport bike any more. Yours for the taking (and a PIF).

I already grabbed the pipes from a page or two ago, so I won't get greedy. But if that video on dual-sporting lays around awhile, I'd love to watch it a couple times and then repost it or pass something else forward....

Thanks Fred but I have a Nelson Rigg tail bag also so don't have much use for the lid.
Huh? :blink:

I don't think you get the premise of a Pay It Forward. It's not just putting things up for trade. It's offering things up for free with no strings attached other than whoever takes your item offers something else up to the general forum for free, in kind.

So you don't have to need whatever I am offering, just fee that the two items I'm offering a roughly equivelent to your PIF tank bag.

If you are trying to sell, barter or make a direct trade for your items then you need to do that in your own post, not in Pay It Forward.

So is that tank bag a Pay It Forward or not?

Giving my previous PIF item a bump so it doesn't get too lost in the shuffle, and adding another item as well. First is the previously offered Chatterbox open-face noise reducing headset for the GMRS X1 or FRS X2 models. Chatterbox's website recommends this headset for open-face or modular/flip helmets.

Here's a pic;

My new PIF item is a Chatterbox FRS Multi-sport+ helmet communicator. The kit is complete except it would need another headset to talk to your passenger, but it's the cheaper headset from Chatterbox (about $30 on their website, but cheaper elsewhere). The previously offered headset is NOT compatible...or so sayeth Chatterbox. It's voice activated and has an audio input so you can also listen to a stereo music source, such as an MP3 player or radio, and has an input for a remote push-to-talk (PTT) switch which is included. It has an internal battery and comes with an A/C charger. Included are the transceiver unit, charger, one headset, helmet mounting bracket, belt mounting clip, headset extension cable, foam covers for the speakers, adhesive backed velcro pads for mounting the speakers in your helmet, PTT switch & extension cable.

Here's a pic or two;

I'm feelin' left out 'cause nobody wants my stuff. :( Maybe this will spark more interest than my first item.

I have a bronze-colored Rifle touring windscreen. It's not perfect, but it works great. I just didn't like the fact that it was tinted. Just pay actual shipping cost. I don't have any pics, as it's already boxed up in a complicated two-box arrangement.

Second Item; a beaded seat cover. Used on the rider seat of my FJR for several thousand miles. In fine shape, I just never found it that helpful, others disagree. Some beads have faded to a gray color patina:

BUMP. This really is in good shape, and some swear by it. Now is a good time to find out if it is right for you. I'll pay shipping to CONUS as part of the PIF...

Shiny,

You gots a lotta good free stuff up for grabs here now.

I'm sending you that DVD, no further PIFing required.

Please PM me your shipping address.

And enjoy it!

Hmmmm. Ok, so I don't want to be greedy either. I've offered up two items, although I don't seem to be having much luck giving away either. I claimed one item, although I haven't heard anything from my PIFer since last week, but I think he might have said something about being out of town? I've wanted to try a beaded cover, but just never bought one. If someone else comes along and says "ooh, ooh, pick me, pick me! I've got an awesome PIF item", Ya know I'd understand completely. But if nobody else wants to give it a whirl, you could certainly keep me in mind for that puppy.

Just sayin' ;)

A chatterbox is a biggie, and the beads have been sitting for a week with no takers, sooooooo....

It's yours. All I ask is that if you don't like it re-post it for somebody else. PM me some shipping info and I'll get it out tomorrow.

Anybody want a Cramp Buster? Put it on the bike once, rode around the block, and took it off. It's the wide version.
IMG_1803.jpg

I can't believe that nobody wants to try a crampbuster for FREE!! I have 2 of these things already (different brand) and really like them. To me they are worth more that the list price, and for free, how can you go wrong? Definitely worth trying if you are uncertain...

And I still have the GIVI V46 flat black trunk lid up for grabs.
