Just completed the T Spring Mod a few days ago but was still thinking about trying out a cramp buster. Being a newbie I'm not sure how all this works???

Read the first couple posts and you'll get the drift. The giver (me in this case) and you (the givee) negotiate the PIF item you will be giving to the collective. Then the item you want(cramp buster for example) gets shipped to you. In the case of expensive to ship items (like exhaust pipes), the shipping is negotiable of course. You get good karma, an item you want and a cleaner parts bin. Win, win, win.Just completed the T Spring Mod a few days ago but was still thinking about trying out a cramp buster. I have a bronze-colored Rifle touring windscreen. It's not perfect, but it works great. I just didn't like the fact that it was tinted. Just pay actual shipping cost. I don't have any pics, as it's already boxed up in a complicated two-box arrangement.
Toe rides a GEN I (2004) per his profile. He can correct me if I am wrong, but it is likely for a GEN I FJR...I have a bronze-colored Rifle touring windscreen. It's not perfect, but it works great. Got any pics or links to a website where one is? Does it fit a gen 2? Im interested.......
Shiny, I like this concept of Fred W's in paying it forward! About six months and 100 bong hits ago, you had asked me to make a copy of my off road trip with BB to Real de Catorce and Santiago in Central Mexico. Good News: You now get an hour long video showing how Skip Mascorro and Barak Naggan of Moto Discovery run their off road Mexico Expeditions.Shiny,
You gots a lotta good free stuff up for grabs here now.
I'm sending you that DVD, no further PIFing required.
Please PM me your shipping address.
And enjoy it!

This'll be good preparation for you, with our riding through and back from and to Copper Canyon to Sea of Cortez in Mexico November 2010. Bad News: You have to endure hour watching world's worst oldest and fattest off road rider in action-ME!
I'll mail my Central Mexico video tape off to you Monday, I still have your mailing address. Can I borrow Fred's Dual Sport video when your done with it? Maybe this old decrepit putz can learn some ancient dog tricks and stop doing face plants!!!

Oh! Now I get it but since I just got back into ridding I haven't accumulated any surplus stuff as yet but I love the concept. :clapping:Read the first couple posts and you'll get the drift. So you now have first dibs on a crampbuster. What are you thinking of posting for someone else to get?
The item does not necessarily have to be motorcycle related. Got anything admired by a large segment of the population? Anus shears are only wanted by Bustanut Joker, therefore unacceptable, but a 2010 calendar of scantily clad women would be acceptable... you get the idea. Maybe you have gotten two identical gifts of a tool/item and want to pass one forward? Give it some thought; I'll hold the cramp buster for ya until you get back to us.Oh! I have a Rifle touring shield as well as their "sport" shield (the smaller one on the right). The touring is one big piece of lexan. The only other shield I've seen quite as big is the Vstream, but the shapes are radically different. It's for a Gen IGot any pics or links to a website where one is? Does it fit a gen 2? It's the larger of the two pictured here, and it will just about suck you out of the saddle without some spacers or a tuning block (not included)....
Mike, you might want to do something to secure the key a little better when shipping. I tried just "dropping one in an envelope" once. The recipient got an empty envelope with a small hole in the end of it. We suspected that postal sorting equipment might have actually squeezed it right out the end of the envelope, as it looked like it was torn from the inside out. I suggest wrapping it in something and taping it before putting it in an envelope.I believe I just drop one into an envelope for 1st class USPS.
I could REALLY use a key. PM & E-mail sentanybody need/want an official Yamaha key blank...I bought 10 last time I ordered from Mondak and have some that I can part with. Geez, how many keys can one bike need.
I'd be happy to part with a few to my Feej peeps gratus. I believe I just drop one into an envelope for 1st class USPS.
I had my local locksmith cut them using an official spare key from Yamaha.
Worked fine.

I will take the V46 lid.I have the small Yamaha sport tank back w/ map pouch. Came with the bike when I bought but I now have a Nelson Rigg and will probably never use the small one. I have only used it a couple of times and still looks new.
Oooh, that sounds like something I could use. PM sent.
I have a brand new Givi V46 cover (flat black) that was taken off when brand new to install my color match bass boat blue cover. It would be good for someone that wanted to install a luggage rack to the top of their trunk, but didn't want to mess up their existing lid. Or if your current lid is already FUBAR, a nice new replacement!!
One of these lids in pebble finish black:
I'm feeling like maybe the V46 lid might be worth a bit less than the tank bag being offered, so I'm sweetening the deal. I'm also offering a pretty cool video on DVD as a PIF. It is put out by DualSportRiding.com and this video is the one called "Dial Sport Riding TECHNIQUES.
Here's the lowdown on the DVD: Clicky
I watched it, enjoyed it, don't see any reason to keep it now that I don't have a dual sport bike any more. Yours for the taking (and a PIF).
