Hey Paul, your blog https://paulpeloquin.blogspot.com/2007/08/a...oblog_3758.html you talk about the ME880's. I replayed it over and over.. hard to understand.. what were you trying to say about the tires performance?

I was generally pretty pleased with the performance of the Metzler M880 radials. They went the full rally distance, got me home, and still probably have a thousand or two miles in them. I should note, though, that I was not in full sport mode during the rally and can't attest to their performance for sport riding. What I was saying in the blog was that the rear did have a tendancy to slip on some paint of some fog lines. It happened about four or five times during the rally. Perhaps this is not the fault of the tire; most riders try to keep the bike IN BETWEEN the lines on the road ; )

Paul

Congrats Paul, Matt, and all the other 2007 IBR riders. Between Matt's text blog and Paul's voicemail blog I was able to get a glimpse at just how difficult the IBR is and at what an amazing accomplishment it is to finish!

Paul.

I haven't had a chance to isten to the 2nd leg of your blog, but I gotta say this audio blog thing is the fucking COOLEST thing going, and I thank you for pioneering it.

I'm also proud as punch to know you and I'm very proud of you for executing such a great ride!

See you soon in NV.

GZ

Ditto on what GZ said. Paul's' blogging was the closest you could be to the rally without actually riding it. By the time I met Paul I felt I already knew him. Congrats and thanks for taking the time to keep us all updated from the road.
