scubatech, I thought you might be interested in this: My Good Friend Uri Schumm posted this on our AZ Beemers Forum today. Amazing, Uri had been a Beemer rider since 1968, a year before me!

Don, I am not surprised at these conclusions on the Tiger versus the BMW F800GS. I rode both motorcycles on this trip. Ergonomically, the Tiger was much better. For example, its seat was so comfortable that after 8 to 12 hours a day of hard riding, I did not get sore. Handlebar geometry was also better. As much as I am loyal to BMW, having ridden these bikes for my entire adult life, if someone offered me a good deal for my RT, I'd make the switch to a Triumph Tiger.
