...and if it is not raining.
Last time I checked you're not made of sugar...that's the hint you won't melt in a little rain Barry! ;)

I would really like some help learning how to do a TBS check.
Fixed it for ya...I think. TBS's are our specialty, junior. I'm sure that Pan and Pops will bring their Carbtunes and we'll get'm all done. Get a set of PAIR plates and we'll install those at the same time.

That's one of the things I had been hoping to do before April 30th, but I think I can hold on a little longer and get it done then when I have more knowledgeable people around to show me how.

I"m in.. and might want to spend the night (just to ride more the next day) :)

Unless I have a new Aux. fuel cell to install (the bulk head fitting is in place), I'll have little to do this time on my bike. :)

Looking forward to seeing everyone, there is a change in the lunch menu, I going to do a Low-N-Slow cook (10 hrs) pork butt for pulled pork sandwiches.

Hi Bryan

Room for one more? I'll be riding with El Cajone (Dana) so if you still have a spare bunk in the rv that would be most appreciated.

There goes Marcus again, talkin' 'bout a tender piece of butt 'n all...

Despite that, I'm in.

In what may be the LONGEST ever install of aux lighting, I *could* have my Hellas up and running by this event. Just trouble shooting today, and it seems like I may be trying to pull a signal for the relay from the wrong wire in the rear of the bike - that or a wonky connection back there. This spring will mark the one year mark for having them mounted and unpowered... damn... that's embarrassing... *whistles*

I hope to make it this year (this isn't Easter Week-end is it?)

I missed last year. Not sure yet I will have anything to install or do; but I have at least a month to come up with something.

I have all sorts of electric/electronic experience and tools so shout out if there is something needed that might be usefull.

No, Easter is the weeken before. Even if you don't have anything to install, come on out. Good chance to see others in the area.

Anyone want to damtour.com the next day with me? We could pick up Wynoochee, Dugualla, and Upper Baker before I head back home. :)

Dave

PS. I'll be registering soon, so if you do please add me to who hooked you up and I guess I could win something.

I had been contemplating doing the Dam Tour this year, so I may just go ahead and register. If so, I'd be game for that.

Great idea! Count me in.

I won't have any farkles to install or maintenance to accomplish, but am more than willing to help others. I'm not a certified motorcycle mechanic, but I do have aircraft mechanic certification and the FJR can be easily thought of as an aircraft with no wings!

Thanks for hosting it again.

I'm new to the forum and would love to come down from surrey, canada. If you could recomend a place to stay and give me directions to this little party that would be great. I don't think I have alot to do to the bike but like I said, I'm new and I'm still figuring out what I need to do and what I want to do so by april I'm sure I'll have something.

PS, I cook too, I'm good in the kitchen and can help any way that is needed. Just saying I'm better with a wisk than a wrench. Not that they are really all that differnt, the pull pork has my mouth watering already.

Sorry, won't make it.

I didn't respond previously because I've been working with the U Dub Medical Center to check my valve clearances. They told me yesterday that they're recommending I have them change out the exhaust valves on both cylinders (aortic and pulmonary) and an exhaust header on one (aorta). Pretty much a full rebuild.

They'll split my case/chest April 13 and I won't be on the road for six weeks or so after that.

Gonna need the synthetic oil/coumadin to protect the new valves, so I'll be planning a gentle break-in this summer.

All in all, I'd rather be at the Tech Meet.

WOW! Take it easy and do what the docs tell you. I know from experience that when they say "Don't do anything for one week", they mean it... since even pushing the damn vacuum across the floor stretched the recovery time by a further 5 days!

We'll be thinking of you, Top... :)
