So here is what I figure my shcedule needs to look like. Tuesday gets a little funky, but I think a siesta beforestarting the B2BI ride at the Mexico border is fitting:

it's looking less and less likely that I can go...I need new tires and a new helmet (dropped mine after returning home from SFO)... I can't come up with $600 for those things and have enough for fuel/food/hotels along the way...

It does suck that it looks like you wont be able to make it, but a good helmet and tires are needed to ride at all. Just ask Cougar.

Well, you can always be dumb...without the riding part.

Maybe when I get my bike back up and running, we can take a 500 or 600 mile day ride through Wisconsin's finest Cty roads.

When my left leg heals from my dirt bike accident. We will get the old group together and do the WI thing. Hoping to by Labor Day, maybe even before.

I feel for you we did the 50cc wound up doing it in 32 hrs total rideing time San Deigo Ca to Jacksonville Fla did a 6hr nap in Baytown Tx got our bbg in 23 1/2 hrs as a bonus but we figgered our gas stops at 240 mpg worked fine and that was without aux tank.
