good thoughts and prayers
Ouch! That sounds very painful. I've taken care of patients with stuff like that going on, and they are hurting until they get the good drugs on board. Hoping that Cameron feels better real soon. Don't you be making him laugh for a while though. That will hurt! One of my fellow police officers had a bad motorcycle accident yesterday and is banged up pretty bad. He was riding dirt bikes with his family and lost control of his bike hitting the ground hard. He has broke his collar bone in three places, collapsed one of his lungs and broke six ribs. He is currently in ICU with a chest tube inserted and on a morphine drip. Please keep cameron in your prayers. He is a really good person and friend.
It's to late I have already made him laugh and he cussed me when he quit. Thanks for your concern he has already shown some improvement in such a short time. They are telling him 6 to 8 weeks before he can think about coming back to work.Ouch! That sounds very painful. That sounds about right. IIRC, it was 3 months for me, but I do very physical work and there is no "light duty" for me.It's to late I have already made him laugh and he cussed me when he quit. That's a good trick. It really helps.Remember the "trick" I posted about hugging a pillow to support the ribs...for laughing as well as sneezing or coughing.
