Last time Ray was in Manila, the White Ship Fleet was there.

A little before my time.

Lets get back on track here. The KZ1300 is an old bike but not that old although there are rock and chisel marks on some of the parts. Probably from Don working on it.

It's Giggle Time!

I might buy another kz1300 engine just for a coffee table decoration.

Was a little surprised to see the amount of hone marks.
Then again I've not seen many bores freshly honed.

6 little pistons, all in a row.
6 little pistons all in the hole.

Wo0w.
Ray, is the horizontal channel, front side, either side of water pump, the main water passage way for each cylinder?

Ray says this 6 cylinder monster engine is 'EzPZy!'.

Finally - a REAL tool - the hammer.
The cam lobes look delicious.

Hopefully, this engine will run better than OEM new.
I'm sure Ray has spent more detail and precision in this motor than QuackASucki ever did.

The intake side of the house.
It's easy to see why carburetors are difficult to get correct air mixture-
Look at the distance difference from intake to cylinder from center cylinders to outboard cylinders.

Cams in and timed!

RadioHowie approves the APE manual cam chain tensioner.
The stock tensioner caused many a KZ engine failure.

MsDcarver just walked in the office, looked over the shoulder and said -

"Are you looking at motorcycle **** again from Ray?"
"You guys are like the Big Bang Theory nerds for motorcycles"

Looking good, so good in fact that it should not be ridden on a gravel road DC so I will gladly store your bike at my climate controlled shop while keeping fresh fuel in it at all times.

Just here to help!

That's not Don's bike. His is a KZ1300...NOT a ZRX. I do like that ZRX though. One of my guys bought one last year. It's a fun bike.

It may be dressed up to look like a ZRX but that's a KZ engine. The engine cases look good in black, maybe I should start over. The chrome looks good but the powder coat covers a multitude of issues

Wait a second...I knew that was a KZ engine. Did you put Carver's engine in the ZRX? Cuz if so, that's BAD ***!! I thought that was just a file photo or sumthin'.

Lessee, a few weeks ago Ray wasn't done with the engine. The frame frame just came back from being powder coated. Even if Ray were Miracle Max and got it all together the real miracle would be all the greenery in the background when his ground should be winter white. I'm thinking someone posted a teaser picture, some motorcycle **** that kinda looks like what he hopes his bike will be like.
