I'm using an X-Grip connected through the unused mirror bolt on the clutch lever assembly, with my phone in an Otter Box. No troubles so far.

This mounting puts my phone substantially closer to me than the other gauges but for an old fart with progressive bifocals that's not a problem.

Just ordered a Slip Grip mount after a friend of mine showed me how well his holds. You can get a mount for pretty much any phone. Unfortunately, no weather protection on the mount I ordered. This will be mounted to the left side reservoir via ram mount.
