D'oh... yep, fixed. It may be on display at Laguna, but, there's no Moto2 race there. He'll be riding it at Indianapolis.
Yep, that was a helluva crash in HD slow mo.There actually is one American rider in Moto2 now. Kenny Noyes. The team is funded primarily by actor Antonio Banderas. He was on the better end of a rather brutal incident at the finish of last weeks race in Catalunya. Carmelo Morales was on the losing end of the deal, in a big way. Check out this video (worth the wait through the commercial). Turns out Morales was basically OK after the incident, but the video leaves you certain he's in bad shape. Kenny pulled off a really nice last turn pass on Morales to finish one position ahead of him...Morales tried to pull out of the draft at the last second and BAM! Bad **** happened.
One of the ugliest crashes I've seen. And, yeah, he walked away with nothing more than some bruising. Unreal. Noyes said he and Morales were laughing about it in the med van after the race. :blink:Agree on many fronts - Moto2 has some incredible racing, and it's amazing that he came through that crash (apparently) without a broken bone!
I held my breath when the bike *landed* on the back of his head andneck.... gnarley!
Back on topic....the bike officially breaks cover. #34 is Schwantz's number that was previously retired by the FIM. His involvement allowed it to be used again.See it here
