Ride around Lake Michigan - worth it?

Thanks guys! This is very helpful. Looks like we'll be staying in Manistee on the way up and then in Manistique in the UP. I'm following the lakeside routes mentioned above all the way up. But my mode of operation is usually to plan things out really tight to have a good route and then adjust mid-trip so it still feels free and not like something else I've got to get done.

I've got two different routes on Monday, one through the Boulder Junction area and the other just headed down to Green Bay, possibly heading up into Door county.

Likely we'll be through Muskegon early Sunday afternoon.
