I also am fond of the Brit rags. They use really cool words like "whilst" and "Continent". They even get under the hood and actually work on ****, not just bolting on $5k forks like US mag "build ups"......... :glare:

I read Rider, Motorcycle consumer news and RoadRunner Magazine I Think RoadRunner is one of the best as far as touring mags go.
double ditto! For pure sport touring entertainment Roadrunner IMHO is #1 and MCN is just good all around review mag. for both various new model bikes and gear. I get them both, but far and away I await my Roadrunner, good writers, laminated pages and good photos. Quality read...for a mag.

Enjoy Peter Egan in CW and Clem Salvadori in Rider. I typically read both rags cover-to-cover all while perched on the throne...that reminds me, I need to make a run for some more Prep H. I used to like Cycle the best, subscribing since 1974 until their demise, but the closest I can come now is when Cook Neilson does a contributing piece for CW.

I get Rider, Motorcyclist and CW. They are all okay. I used to get MCN, but when they wasted 3 whole pages of an already anemic magazine on the subject of "farting", I had to cut them loose. What I really want to read about is FJRs and sport touring. I get that all, 10 times over, right here!

I keep saying that I'm going to stop getting a couple of them, since they are quite repetitive, but as they run out, I get sucked back in with a subscription price that is so low they almost have to pay me.

They offset that with a good article about CAN buss this past month.

Beats the regurgitation of ad copy disguised as product review that Motorcyclist had become when I dropped them.

Easy rider is the way to go......they even show scoots in there every once in a while.

Gunny on Roadrunner. I started subscribing after meeting Christian at the Long Beach Cycle World show. It was quite the shock when I read of his passing in the magazine, but his widow has carried on what he started quite well.

I also get Cycle World, mostly for Egan's column...

Rider & Roadrunner both are pretty decent and there was one that came out back in '04 called Motorcycle Escape that I enjoyed when I could find it on the newsstand but it seems to have disappeared, ...out of pub? Will buy the British rags on occassion, I do think they're a little more likely to call shyte on sumthin' if that's really what they think of it.
