I've said it many times, but will repeat...any forum peep is invited to Ole Nawlins' anytime we can hook up. I offer riding, tour guide, even my home is you don't mind my living room made into the guest room, or one of my kids rooms if they are away. AIW home cooked food plus the option of the best restaurants in the world.

Tyler spent the longest...like 3 or 4 days which was wonderful...a number of you rode through to your next destination and I had fun joining up with you as knowledgable escort. I spent the night in Pcola one time, and Biloxi another with peeps. And a favorite Canadian couple came to town staying in the French Quarter that let me tourguide one of the days of the stay. I love doing this stuff and now with your amazing generousity, I even want to serve you more than ever.

Here's the previous post with more details of the invite:

Are you sure you are not some ADV Windbag?

Also please don't use any of the extra funds to buy a new horn. Thanks.

from the AIW:

There is no way I could even begin to thank all of you for the out pouring of support & love you have shown Mike; and your gift of a new engine for “Isabella”. This gift you have given him, the gift of riding , is more important to him and for him than I could ever express. This deep joy that only riding provides has been gone since his bike broke. It now has returned and is doubled in the anticipation of hearing that his bike can “come home “. We are so deeply humbled .
With heartfelt thanks,
Amy Jo

Amy Jo, (now THERE'S an Italian name!)

Please, PLEASE do the forum a favor and force Mike to find a better place to hang his horn on Isabella.

It's a slap in the face of ALL FJR riders and the world looks at ALL of us askew after seeing Isabella dragging that anchor.

Thanks,

You are welcome Amy Jo. Of course, we all know that your ulterior motive is that you want to get Mike back out of the house more often, but your sentiments and thanks are very gratifying to all.

Amy Jo, Can't speak for everyone but, I'm thinking that Title is Well deserved! You must have the patience of an Angel! Give Mike a Big Wet Kiss for me.

I am tearing up as well. To think of that poor woman married to Patriot all those years! I feel so sorry for her, and she seems so nice...

Just kidding Mike!

Happy to see things coming together, Mike. Use the excess to cover any other preventative issues, so we know you'll be on the road for a good while, maybe an extra set of tires or so.

AIW:

my Mom's last name is Corso and my Dad's Calora...both grandparents came over on the boat from Sicily

Mom was a big fan of "Petticoat Junction"

It's best for our marriage that I don't mess with his other woman

love ya'll...you don't really realize completely that you "talked Mike off the ledge"

I'm eternally grateful

Amy Jo

more thank you's to you all...just an update that all is going well and I appreciate Fred coordinating everything...my PayPal account has swelled to bemouth proportions and I am happy to report our family budget is so improved...very recently my family asked me to plan and execute a get together of everyone...a family union, the first in many many years. The AIW is specially excited as even her staunch Italian family are looking forward to it. So I made a reconnaissance trip to check out accomodations. The Panaromic Suite here will be the perfect place for everyone to spend the weekend together this summer:
