I'm wearing an EX 700 and it's a good helmet bought at a great price.

I'd love to have a Shoei Neotec but can't bring myself to part with 5-$600 at the moment.

Anybody wearing the latest version of Scorpion's flip-front the EX 900X ?

Are you meaning the Scorpion EXO-900 transformer helmet? The modular style, that can actually become a 3/4 style if you take off the flip front, and put on the peak visor accessory?

Yes, I have that one. Have had it for almost a year now....

Yes I'm sorry the EXO 900 but the newest version is called 900 X revised shell shape. how do you like the 900?

I like the helmet. Love the drop down sun visor!!! Love the modular aspect of the helmet. Since I have not had "top of the line" helmets... this helmet is really nice. A lot better than the helmet I had before this one!!! I like the neck collar pump. Makes for a "perfect" fit. When I was searching for a new helmet, I shopped around the store trying on different helmets for at least an hour. Tried on many styles and sizes. This helmet seemed to fit my head the most comfortable, and I liked where all the "controls" and vents were located.

Scorpion is coming out with a new modular only helmet, looks pretty good to me. I had the original 900 and it was a POS

I have been wearing Scorpion helmets since 2006. I think they are great helmets at a reasonable price. I have 2 EXO 900s at the present time. I have about 150,000 miles on the pair. I did have the chinbar release fail on one but Scorpion sent me repair parts for both helmets within a day or 2. I was wearing Shoei & Arai helmets before the Scorpions. Great helmets but I wanted a convertible and Scorpion had the only one that fit me well. I like that Scorpion did away with the crappy chrome trim in favor of the black on the 900X. That chrome pealed on every helmet I've seen. I wear a helmet for many hours a day. Quite often up to 14 hours. My EXO 900s have been comfortable, reasonably quiet and vent well. I will be looking at new helmets later this year and it'll be between the EXO 900X and the Shoei Neotech. I'm betting I'll be buying another Scorpion.

Had not seen the 3000 GT will check it out. Like the idea of a dedicated flip-front instead of the on/off 900. If the fit compares to my 700 it will be a contender

I have had the scorpion for three years. The wind noise is a little louder than my HJC flip, yet the ability to remove the flip for a open face with a visor is awesome for summertime riding.
