A BIG THANK YOU for allowing a " foreign" cycle to be part of your group ride ! I had a nice time not only on the ride, but in all the time spent hanging out & meeting nice people ( and 1 fantastic dog too
).
I'm the guy on the silver St1300. I love my cycle, but I am 99% sure that my next one will be an FJR. That could happen as soon as I get the building permit to put an addition on the doghouse I typically find myself in at home. Will see how that works out.... until then I'll keep riding my STeed & trying to improve on my riding skills & eventually be able to keep pace with you FJR friends.
I met so many folks that it's impossible to name them all.... especially since everyone has a pseudo name too (HA), but I have to point out that Steve took hours of his day to trailer a rider ... whom he hardly even knew, home who had had an accident. I get the impression that that is just him..... as is the fun we had at the Brewery and with his "wig act".
I hope our paths cross again & until then.... be safe & have fun riding. Dave

Glad you had fun and hope your buddy rids that soreness really quickly. Hope to 'sea' you again at another sippy-hole event/rally!

Oh the ST contingent was no problem. It's that guy wearing the T-shirt "Bust My Wallet" and riding the 1600 that needs his chops busted. I only have pictures of the silliness at the Motel. The rides were way too fast to grab a camera. No one wants to see people riding a clown bike, right?

Tom, it was great riding with you. It was a pretty good pace. Especially when we saw Ken, Bryan and Petey catching up to us. Attempted revenge. We did find some decent mexican food near the hotel, but everyone ate it too fast to take a picture.
Some were more interested in the chips than others.
Flowback found a new ride on the way home...he was pretty good on the clown bike too.

My only road shots were on the way home at a slower pace. I had a great trip up 26 to Ohio 800 and crossed the Ohio River at New Martinsville and took WV 7 east. Not bad for flat straight and boring roads.

Ride-in Thursday, still about a 100mi out, I was hunting down a lunch hole, looking for fresh n homemade, I stumble upon this lil beauty
Food porn or it didn't happen (as per bikergeek) My Chicken Curry (no curry powder here!)
I already knew Mike liked any scenery, and plenty to go around here
The Triple Nickle (Rte 555) Pee Break
Fridays lunch stop... the sign says "Home Cooking". Guess that's just in words only, diner food at best
No food porn pics deserved!
You may have already seen me doing the Rio Grande crossing in 'fitters RR
When I got home, I sought out the rear drive for any moisture entry. U know, hot drive hits cold water- it can create a vacuum into the breather. All was well after overnite examination (with gear fluid poured into a mason jar) no water pockets or bebee's on the bottom of the jar. Nice! Whew!

Saturday I planned a W.Virginia Route; Mike, Steve and Lisa make the roadtrip a lot of fun! Super company, thanks guys and gals
Sat nites dinner was an absolute RIOT! Went Mexican with great company; Heidi, Lisa (were good sports toour my manly gross humor) here is Mikey with his sexy new glasses (I know he has more dirt on me at this joint so I will be nice
I did rub it into the ole Steamer (just once) by a text pic... "Hey Stan!... glad you could join us on your Ninja14!"
His reply back was "don't you worry Dick!, I'll be there at the next one and yes, that's a bad ass bike!" ....we all know steamers a Kawi guy
Can't wait to do it again!!....sea see some of you in 3 weeks at Wellsboro PA for the Pennsyltucky Run
