He picks up the pace once he realizes he's 2 states to the left of where he should be...

The pace is leisurely,........Sure!!!!!
Oh yeah, that's right...you followed Andy in last year
lol.gif

& Andy, when you say that you're putting together a route does that include Garmin GPS routing?
Maybe. We'll see how motivated I get. May just kinda SWAG it. If there is a fair amount of interest, though, I'll see what I can do.

You've never ridden with me, have you? I'm slow.

Nah. I just wave you by.

And, for the record, it was only one state.

You can always send me the roads & I will plot it. I have this thing about swagging it & ending up 2 states away or not being able to pass because I don't know where we're going... or is that your evil plan? <evil laugh icon BWHAHAHAHAHA>! I'd prefer to have a GPS file.

Dang it! All my hopes of making SFO, SWFOG, CFR, or NERDS for the first time have fallen through and CFO and EOM in September is too long to wait to ride with other FJR riders.

It looks like time is available in May for a repeat of the Ramble though. I swore I would never ride that route again to get to Ohio but I’m getting very tempted listening to you guys talk about the straight flat roads of Ohio.

Maybe I could take an extra day on the way out and loop through the upper peninsula of Michigan making the trip epic instead of just bearable.

Hmmm thinking hard!
Sorry your plans have fallen though....that's a heap of riding you are missing.

If you have the time, after the Ramble...on the way back, I would follow builderwill west through KY to his part of Missouri, take a day and enjoy it before taking the back roads back to Dakota land.

If you can make it to the straight flat roads of Ohio...definitely give it a try. If you like 'em straight, Ohio's got 'em!
Damn Abercrombie! That is a haul from where you're coming. Hope to see ya there..

As to Wheatie's suggestion I would love the company if you head in that direction. That goes for anyone else coming from points westward like Petey or Showmemo, if you want to get together on either the ride in or back let me know and we'll figure routes and schedule.

I understand not wanting to trust BG...I TOTALLY get that. :0

Heads up all!

The rumor has it that The P.O.T.U.S. is giving the commencement address at O.S.U. in Columbus on the 5th of May.

Watch out for the black helicopters.

Yep it is a haul. Did it last year and had a blast despite getting rained out sunday. But I have to say that interstate traffic sucked balls heading East! I don't know how you guys make time getting anywhere. If I decide to come this year I'm going to have to find a little more enjoyable route at least one way.

this ride is a definite possibilty at this point. I'll be leaving California about 4/23-4/25 and traveling at a leisurely pace across country towards Pittsburgh. The timing is just about right.
