Hey Intech - if youre following this thread give me a holler (forum says you cant receive any more direct messages). i am in lancaster PA and am interested in riding out with you (from around Hagerstown MD if i estmated the route right). ed griffis amishfjr lancaster PA

There were unfriendlies up and down 77 and 250 en masse, also heavy activity on 7 and 800.
I managed to slip thru their lines undetected yesterday, but they detected me twice already this year.

Once was 53 in a 30 the other was 60 in a 40. I'm waiting for my letter from ODOT to arrive shortly.
Got my first and hopefully last performance award for the year back in February...84 in a 65...don't forget to look to the sky for that bear in the air...JSNS

I know Bob is camping this weekend. I'm sure he'll chime in next week some time

What time do you suppose the last group will be heading out Saturday morning? And will the route be headed North early on to where I could intercept?

Update. -12C this morning with about an inch of snow.

Spring has forfieted itself this year. But I *AM* going to get the bikes out tomorrow. If that mother nature ***** doesn't want to cooperate, well than I'll have to adapt.

Just a thought here: Anyone notify the Yamaha shop about this event? Might be good that they are fully stocked on sport tires and whatever else could go kaput!
That reminds me...everybody should bring fresh tires or only slightly worn tires. Don't try to get your last set of miles on these roads. ;)

For those traveling in through or from Columbus, OH Beth and I will be in Columbus Thursday night around 7pm and staying at the College Inn in Westerville. We should be at the Old Bag Of Nails around 8pm for dinner. If anyone has time to hang out stop by the Old Bag of Nails and I'll buy you your beverage of choice.

The best bet for tires in a pinch is IronPony in Columbus. Service is open Sunday until 5pm. Took care of replacing a 'cords showing' rear tire for me on a Sunday a couple of years ago. And they have plenty of stock.

But the best course is to have fresh tires on when you leave the barn - trust me, I've been bit too many times...

I took a good look at Jim's VFR and the Pilot Power on the back probably would be toast at some point on the return trip. He's got a new PR3 up front already. So he ordered up a freshie PR3 for the rear and will be getting it installed this week.

Oh, and I finally got my bikes out from their long winter nap today! WOOHOO!

Congrats. The hibernation was definitely delayed this spring, longer than the last coupla years. As long as your Molson Canadian is thawed, you're good to go.

I'm thinking about another recon ride down the triple nickel tomorrow. It's supposed to be in the seventies and sunny.

The nickel has always been one of my favorite rides. Lunch at the Boathouse in Marietta. Back home up 60 to 821.

Anybody else in?
