Checkout this map of Snowshoe. Firefox Grille was very expensive, it's actually at the base of the Mtn in the Lodge. I was favoring Fiddleheads, it's past the mini-Mtn loop of Rte 9/3, that is in the SnowShoe400 loop. Easy in/out right on 219N where we have to pick it up anyways.

Fiddleheads is way more reasonable on the wallet. I haven't been down there in probably 15 years, but I do remember how pricey Firefox was. It will be neat to see this Mtn again, but this time (hopefully) with no snow on it!.

The files are in both gdb and gpx format so just pick the ones that work best for you.

Anybody know where I put my travel bag full of cables and power supplies? I was going to upload the routes to my GPS last night and I can't find the bag that has my power supply in it..

Mind you, I never stick to the routes anyway...

I spent most of last evening just getting an updated NA map into my Nuvi 550. I can't imagine I'll have a prayer when it comes to trying to upload any of these routes...I'm apparently very GPS-challenged.

I have both Tyre and Basecamp, and neither of them makes any sense to me. Perhaps I'll just stay in the middle of the pack somewhere and just blindly follow whoever's in front of me.

I plan on leaving King George at 0730 Friday morning and being at Snowshoe to meet others at 1200. If you want to hook up meet me at Jake's convenience store at 2436 Churchville Ave. Staunton, Virginia 24401 at about 0940. I will be stopping there about that time.
