We'll be in MW Thursday. Night and be ready to blast off Fri. Morning after breakfast if you want to drag us along behind you for about 400 really quick miles. Nothing like a Local Tour Guide to make the ride memorable. There'll be three of us if your interested Hillbilly 1 I'll tell yeh what I'll do

I'll even get my brother to spring for lunch, and to sweetin the pie even more I'll get the other guy to buy your supper. Whatcha Tink?

I'm tentatively planning on Snowshoe 400 on Friday, possibly meeting intech Bob on the bottom side. Then I'm thinking the Hillbilly run for Saturday.

Might change, might not!

Sad to say that I will be working Thursday and Friday but I will drop by Mineral Wells late afternoon both days. Saturday I feel poorly and probably won't make it to work.

Will leave my contact information in a pm.

We had a plan change and decided to leave Thursday & nothing was available at the Microtel for Thursday night. I booked a room at

¥¥¥¥¥¥¥ ROUTE UPDATE ¥¥¥¥¥¥¥

Allen has informed me that on Sweet-16 Loop, his Tyre for Travel is indicating a possible dirt road?

After investigation, and btw he said don't bother w it KJ... But, I have to at least start out with a no stone unturned mentality. ;)

It appears BC has wrote in a 50 yard stretch of a road, more so a "Y" where the Route goes to the left Y, but also shows a 50yd stretch to the right. Yes, this is gravel, confirmed by Google Earth View. This should not pose a problem however... Unless u have your GPS zoomed in like to see road midgets or something!

So let me lay it out. Sweet-16 loop runs CCW. Starts on 14 for exactly 14 miles, then 53 to 47 which lands u on 16. On the return side u go up 219. At Mill Creek, u turn left and start your trek back west towards Stonwall Jackson SP. at this intersection/ turnoff however way prior just past Mill Creek, the slight glitch is 3.5 miles after the turnoff from 219. Stay to the left fork and u will be fine. Overall this Y glitch or spot is exactly 261.8 miles into the route.

Anything else justa holla!

Just thought I'd post a weather update. Still holding, and it looks llike K.J. might not go boating this year. https://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Marietta+OH+45750:4:US
Oh I have to fit my boating in. Where else can I drink and fantasize about the string bikini clad babes that rely on me getting them back to shore .... BTW, 'Sin or Swim' is a given! .... Yeah, a lot do take the latter lol.

I just finished putting on a new front tire, so the bike is ready. I did the rear tire last month. So who will show up this year with the bald tires?

Oh, that guy!

I think there are enough of us that know a few of the good roads in SEO, to come up with a decent route...or you could just follow Denny.

Maybe it's me, but the Ohio routes can't be found??
That's okay...I'll try to go from memory...what could go wrong?
Here are the 2014 SE Ohio routes from my archives if that is any help to you. They are in Garmin GDB file format and are supplied in an "As Is" condition.

I accept no responsibility as to the accuracy of these routes though I know you will blame me anyways when it all goes off the rails.
