There are many of us joining in Tyler's Pep Squad and cheering for your success.
Hopefully, they won't join in with full regalia!!

I'm thinking I should hang out in the shadows of downtown Seattle on the 10th of December with my camera! ;)

Thanks for the encouraging words and especially the humor!

I've made it almost a week, which is a good sign.

I posted this personal information so I would be too embarrassed to start smoking again, but after this threat from Tyler;

How about this... John, if you choose to pick up another cigarette and light up, the cheerleader police will pick you up and lock you up in a room over the border in Baja with this one for a week. Your choice... :D

I'm done. Although at first, being picked up by the cheerleader police was sounding VERY promising. I was hoping Barb, Tyler, and MEM still had there old uniforms and made house calls!

(Come to think of it,"The Cheerleader Police" is a great name for a band.)

I'm still determined and feeling good. I hope Richard and Bungie follow through, and anyone else out there who needs to quit, especially any of you youngsters.

If you quit while you are young, you can prevent a lot of damage. All I can do is keep it from getting worse.

Reason #2 to quit:

I plan on talking to my cardiologist about Chantix on Friday...........

There you go guys I said it......

Smoke like a chimney while you can, my man!
if I recall correctly, Fairlaner is a "chew" addict

I pray for his tongue and jaw on occassion and the strength to stop that poison

It takes 5-7 days from when you quit to purge the nicotine from your system, that's why getting over the first week is toughest. After 32 years, I quit using Zyban, which would give you headaches and wouldn't let you sleep. 10 years later, I started smoking the odd cigar on bike outings, what a dummy.... had to use Champix to quit, but it worked very well. So, stick with it, there's more to go, but it's all downhill from here. I hope all who quit do very well, and realize that after a short while, you feel better, can taste stuff again.... and on and on.

John - how about THIS uniform ? :p

# 2 Reason is The Best !!

ps - what the heck is The #1 Hardest Thing ?!
Oh Hell Yes! That uniform is perfectly acceptable.

Thanks for that picture...

Now I know what to do to keep my hands busy! :)
