I just thankful I don't have a ******* like that for a father or another one for a brother. But, kudos to them for being able to make a butt load of money being that way.

These guys did not just quit, they spun off. Check them out: V-Force Customs

I hope they kick OCC's butt.

BTW: V-Force Customs to unveil its first custom bike at Daytona International Speedway , Bike Week, 2008

I haven't watched in a long time but Paul Sr. treated Cody very well when he was young, just like one of his sons. It's disappointing to see this.

I remember after Cody went off to Bike School (? in FL) he was a good kid. When he came back he had an "I know everything" attitude I found annoying. Vinnie I liked best of all and never understood the crap he took from the idiots. It always seemed to come down to Vinnie doing the real work. Haven't watched the show in three years -- hope Cody grew up. And hope Vinnie does great in his new venture.....

Just my opinion.

You don't have to like them (I don't), but you do have to admire the attention they have gotten and the empire they have built.

Personally, I don't like the bikes, but I am thankful for the general awareness to motorcycling that they, along with other television shows, have brought.

I am not a regular watcher of the show these days although I did like it when it first arrived here a few years ago. Every show is the same with a deadline and lots of talk of not meeting it, but in the end they always do. Sort of a modern day version of the old mission impossible show. Same format different actors.

As for the quality of the bikes, the finished item looks good to me, but only as pieces of art, not rideable motorcycles. The designs that they come up with would not be allowed on British roads for all sorts of reasons. I have watched them doing things that make me cringe and wonder what goes on that they edit out. One they missed was Cody using a red Snap-on malet to 'persuade' a throttle onto the end of the bar, whilst the others worked around him saying nothing.

Mikey is an irritating *****, and obviously in a 'proper' business wouldn't be entertained at all. They don't do the image of 'Americans' any favours here.

My favourite quote was from Paul senior whilst visiting Stone Henge.

Guide "we think it was built about 3000 BC"

Paul Snr. "So how many years ago is that?"

Don't worry guys, I know you are not all like that!

This is also my take as well. I do watch the shows fairly regularly and admire some of the fabrication. Wouldn't buy one of their bikes even if I could afford one (which I can't), but maybe just maybe, would like to ride one once to see what they consider a good riding bike (as they proclaim).

I love it when they "fire-up" each bike. Everyone stands around and Paul Sr. says, "Sounds good!"

Doh! They all sound alike...AND...they're crate motors, guys...C'mon, it's a Harley clone motor with straight pipes...?????

+1. Yeah, it's such a big surprise that these brand new crate motors will run outta' the box. They work their ***** off uncrating them and dropping them into the frames they buy from someone else.

Some of the riding positions look really uncomfortable.

Anyone who can build an empire like that and still get you to believe that they are completely stupid impresses me.

Its a TV show for the 98% of the population...what do you expect from reality TV. At least its about 2 wheels.

Occ does nothing new, there is a shop in every good size town that does what they do I hope vinny does well on his own ,atleast now he can pick his nose with out some discovery channel turd gett'n it on video. With all the problems with there steel buisness go'n under and paper shuffle games there play'n maybe that big new building will finish them off. Thats what video can do for you, make you rich and an *** at least in there case.

Well, I'm already an ***, so maybe being a rich *** wouldn't be so bad?

I don't get it. Why do we begrudge the Teutels their success? Although their bikes are not for me in terms of style (I cannot speak to their build quality), I give them mega props for living the dream. It seems to me that Paul Sr. was the epitome of the American success story even prior to founding OCC. Yes, there are many builders out there ... but few who can carry a television program by the sheer force of their interesting and entertaining character. What makes him different is that he's a master marketer of his product (which is, predominantly, OCC's image and entertainment value). Sounds like genius to me. And what's wrong with having your sons involved in the business ... even if Mikey is not a bike guy but, rather, an entertainer by nature?

That post sounds like envy to me.

I seem to remember the early shows usually had big bust ups bewteen the 2 Paul's that caught everyones attention and I for one would watch to see how mean they got. That all seemed to fade away as the shows progressed. I wonder just how calculated that was....or not at all maybe?

News to me that Cody left, and that he and Vinnie are starting their own shop... that's great, hope it works for them.

It's the 2 Pauls that made that show popular... kindof "dysfunctional played out in real time". I liked Vinnies suicide shifter bike the best, thought it looked good. But wouldnt buy one of those "jewelry" things for all the tea in china ;)

thier products were un-ridable pieces of crap
you know that their customers have to sign a waiver before taking delivery. it states that there is no explicit or implied warranty for fitness of use (that kind of thing) wrt actually riding the bikes anywhere. they're built as static displays.
