Yes she does the best ride reports thats why i take along.Jill... Great ride report Thanks... Looks like you folks like to ride and had a great time. You really feel old when you go to the museum and see bikes you used to ride many years ago.
Richard... You're going to love your new saddle. When Rocky made mine he told me that it would take 1000-1500 miles for it to really break in well. That was over 40k miles ago and I love it. Long 700-1000 mile days are NO problem in the 'butt' department. Add a pair of LD Comfort shorts and you're good to go for as long as you can stay awake.
I also added a sheep skin pad from Alaska Leathers. 2 things... I wear a Aerostich and this stops the sliding. It also is cooler in summer. It's the 'icing' on the cake.
I'm thinking it's about time for some apple pie... down in Julian.. Y'all would be more than welcome on that ride...
obtw... I always stop at the Chevron on Seaward Ave for gas out that way... easy in & out, no prob w/cards and a good mini store.. just for future ref...
And Julian is good, we need to Palomar mountain road again.
Richard
