Damn your timing sucks! With everything happening now and the GB for the Handy Lift looming, I've got no spare chas at all. I really want one but just can't swing it right now.

Don't you have a Tanji setup? Somewhere I thought I read this. I choose to do this now, so that everyone will have it in time for riding season, that and I won't have time during the summer months.

You wanna deal on the Handy Lift?

I'd be all ears for anyone who wants to trade on a pristine No Mar tire changer. B)

If this GB is a success, this kit might become my door prize contribution for WFO, so you could try your luck in Park City. ;)

Thanks for the sneek peek on the Solteks!

And I wish I could get in, but I just did the GPSuspension thing. Oh well.

After a looong day yesterday making chips, I have the 06 setup almost 100% complete. TurboDave is en route to SoCal as we speak on his 06AE putting his new fuel cell through its paces. If you guys heading to WFO have never met TurboDave, I suggest you seek him out, cause he is a great guy and an even better freind.

If anyone else is interested in this setup for thier FJR, you had better hurry up. Production begins next week.

So Ian, $$ are tight but sure don't want to miss out.. How sure are you that you'll be producing again in the future?

Don, this kind of farkle is time consuming and will only ever be produced in limited quantities. I also believe that riders who have never ridden with a fuel cell have no idea of its convenience, just like riders who always ride on stock suspension cannot comprehend what the aftermarket can do for handling.

So with this in mind, I'll tally up the final numbers and decide if/when I want to run this again. If nothing else, you could get it now to be sure, and turn it later on with ease if you needed the $$, since this is not your typical off the shelf farkle.

Ian,

Not sure if you've got me in your "tally" ...Reno money is on it's way to Sonora USA.

Your design has fueled my interest and this farkle is guaranteed to be a real gas.

Thanks much for all ....what a treat it will be to have 400mile range.

.....now, off to break the sad news to my Corbin Canyon that it'll be spending it's time on the garage shelf while i'm off for long rides with the fuel cell. ....we'll see what Rick Mayer comes up with for a front seat

....renojohn

Stolen quote but I feel the same way.... I hope that my money has reached you... Ian

Sometimes I worry about the mail service in North America and then it surprises me and comes through with fly colours.

Update on the Fuel Cell GB. As of today I believe I have around 14 players for the fuel cell kit which is great news, thank you to everyone who is participating. The only issue is we are not at the minimum amount of players (25) to get a discount on the fuel cell. I will be contacting Tourtank to see where things lie with the amount that we have and will respond once I get an answer. Without knowing what Tourtank will offer, I'm guessing the cell will be around $40-$50 higher than $185.

I am tempted to leave the window open for one more week, as I have been recieving payments and requests for this kit which is now past the shut-off date. There is the possibility that we could reach the intended number for the discount.

Also, if anyone would like to purchase only the cell and nothing else, this would help bump the numbers up to 25 for the Tourtank discount. This would put the cell at a price of only $185. I can assure you that you will not find an all aluminum 4.2 gallon tig welded fuel cell which is within the current IBA guidlines for this price.

Here's my public "Thank You" for doing this. Considering what the original POLL for this product showed, you're really stepping up here. No worries on the price of the cell.

Looking back at the POLL, 29% followed through (14/48), I wonder how many YES votes there would have been if it linked to "Pay Now" via PayPal?

Thanks Again!

Might be a good idea to ask an Admin to move it to the new "Group Buys" forum?

Update. Another 4 payments have been received. I have not deposited any of the funds for this, and I know some of you have been inquiring about this. They will be going in the bank either today or tomorrow.

I have also been getting requests for the use of Paypal to make the purchase. I choose against this to avoid the extra charge that would be incurred, as a means to keep the cost down for you guys.

However, If you want to pay by paypal, go ahead, but please add 5% to your total price for the sting fee that I will get hit by.

Please could the following riders please fill in the blanks with the model year of their bike.

Mike Carter

Adam Quigley

Tom Cale

William Brunell

Scott Cameron
