For your route from Ojai to Moorpark, unless you have a compelling reason to go through Ventura, I'd suggest taking 150 out of Ojai valley, and picking up 126 to Fillmore, then 23 down to Moorpark. Fillmore has been used as a location for TV shows, and has railroad history, which you will see when you roll into town.Updated full route here as best as I can do on Google maps...
If you can, detour a little further South SUNDAY in San Diego county and take Highway 76 up and over PALOMAR MNT.
From there you can ride down to BORREGO SPRINGS....the road down to Borrego (79 to Montezuma) is nice and smooth and twisty all the way down to the desert.
I might be able to lead you on this route if you want, let me know.

Tyler
We moved to palm Springs for the winter.
I hope we could meet while you are here.
Please check your messages.
From Three Rivers to the Madonna Inn, a good alternate route would be SR-198 (a great motorcycling road) over to US-101, then Nacimiento-Fergusson Rd. to PCH.
