2013 SE Ohio Sprint Ramble

Vote for date and location here so everyone can fill in their calendars!

Memorial Day weekend should be ruled out unless you enjoy playing Harley leapfrog all day long. Mother's Day weekend is a iffy proposition (how long do you really want to sleep on the couch?).

Location wise, Marietta looks more appealing as far as options go and it's just a few minutes further south.

I'd love to come to one of these shindigs. I'm not going to vote but I'm going to pay attention to what gets planned just in case it works out that I can go.

All depends on when the new baby is born. Wife gets 12 weeks off and the baby is due in February. That would cover me until early May when she would be home to watch the kid. And I'm certain she'll have to work weekends when she returns, and we haven't figured out much past that.

No guarantees from me yet, but I'll be keeping an eye out for it.

Ken, you could do a day ride...(ride down Saturday, do the Ramble, and then head back home) that's what I did this past year. It's about the same mileage as the ride home from EOM was...but alot more fun

If it's the first weekend of May, I'm out. I'm already booked for the ST.n Eastern meet in the Caanan Valley Resort in WV that weekend.

It's looking pretty good for the 1st weekend right now. Personally, I really don't care & can probably make any of the weekends.

& as far as riding out... I'm thinking the path of least resistance... 250/33/79/50/77. I hear it's a long ride & easily a full day.

If I was you...I'd scrap 79/50/77 and just take 47 from 33(Linn WV)just west of Weston WV to 77.

The last time I went it took me about 7.5 hours. I picked up 50 by Winchester and took that all the way across.
