Thanks, y'all, or the ridicule, slams, comments.

RedTail, I just went back and reread your report about running up to GP Suspension, and the adventure it became.

I failed to link that report to the fellow I met in Guadalupe. Damn. I'd have enjoyed hearing more about your

experience. (You even survived an encounter with SPU, huh? And you don't even walk funny? )

...and MadJack. I'm REALLY looking forward to some sort of ride report from you. I'd wager that the pics will be good,

but I'm CERTAIN the narrative will be perspicacious.

Can't friggin' wait.

And, nice pictures, Bluesman. I'm sure it was the camera's fault.

Dude, what is it with you and photos semis? You know they give me the heebeejeebees, right?

Great pics and spun tales that will live on in infamy here, I'm sure. ;)

Simon involved an innocent child?!!!!

There's no "too low" for you, is there, Bluesy?

(And thanks for the compliment ?, Draggon. )

...and T. I like it when you say heebeejeebee. ;)

I actually stayed up real late doing that. My daughter was sick and I didn't want her to get worse by looking at OM. :p
When I showed my daughter the finished product she told me I could have done better....

I was not going to post on this libelous thread but I thought that one picture would sum up my experiences over the two days. Clearly Old Michael has difficulty with reality... I think it was Maslow who said reality is not what exists but what you perceive to exist...

Wasn't this the same guy on the poster with Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones sprawled out on the chair in an airport waiting area with the overhead sign caption reading: "Only You Can Prevent Drug Abuse!" It was Maslow, and: Nietzsche - "To Do Is To Be!" Albert Camus - "To Be Is To Do!" Frank Sinatra - "Do Be Do Be Do!" "Shrooms Move Me", Papa Chuy Medina!

https://weather.aol.com/forecast/todays/usa...heaton/id/60187 Uh Wheatie, just how far are you riding your damn FJR today?!
6000 miles...if I ride along with my CFR ride report.

Who knows, maybe tomorrow I'll ride along to Sag Harbor...

:)

Hey, you guys have a great ride...that's one of the benefits of where you live. I don't hold that against you.
Wheatie, Look on the brighter side of the benefits you have in Wheaton, IL! You no longer have a pest SkooterG, now we do!

Now Wheatie, you know that some of us stayed awake in class and believe it or not took classes that didn't require a pocket protector and mechanical pencil... If the truth be known, when I went though as an undergraduate, there wasn't such a thing as a calculator. Computer programs were done on cards and engineering problems were solved on a slide rule.... You guys in the Civil Engineering field are the smart ones! Who else could design such marvels as the Oakland Bay Bridge (sorry, bad example since it is falling apart). We need you engineers to design things like roads and buildings so we can make fun of them! I do think deep down Old Michael is a frustrated Civil Engineer....

I guess that shows me for butting into a SWesterner's ride thread. :( Lesson learned.
Posting the actual weather forecasts wasn't meant to be a dig - it was just so that when someone views this thread in the future it will have today's info...

Plus, you're that much further away from Old Michael...

Very nice report and photos. :drinks:

There is just something about seeing it all from a Moto that makes it even more pleasurable. I’m still trying to put my finger on it, but I think it’s the control with the right hand we enjoy that makes it so special. For me, it’s also about being in the great outdoors that adds to the draw.

Thanks for posting this ride. The effort to do so has not gone un-noticed. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Keep Going!
