I have seen FJR's with telescoping dampers.

Bracket on the handle bar bolts for the rod end and the body to the front tank bolts.

Over 125 is a track requirement for a damper?

I ask because it isn't needed for the bike itself if it's in good nick. Beyond that? Meh. Zombie threads are zombie. Especially 12 year old ones.
