Weather permitting, thinking of making a run up to Vancouver BC, lunch, then back. Might do Chuckanut up to just past Bellingham, then not sure about the route home. Got all day.

Any one interested? Got any route suggestions?

I'd like to but still haven't put the bike back together. I have worked six days a week since the first of the year, not enought time!

I will discuss with my better half, but I would like to go. The weather seems like it will be good.

Yes, especially more north. I'm gonna stop by Auburn's on Saturday to diagnose a faulty PTT switch, and will hopefully be ready to use the bike2bike features of the Starcomm. I've got an extra FMRS if your starcomm is enabled for B2B.

While I am looking for a fun ride up and back, I do have a specific purpose in mind.

PM sent

Dave,
What time were you thinking of departing for Sunday?
I am easy. Probably no later than 9, if we want enough time to get up and back and lunch, at an easier pace. Not sure how far into BC I will go, got to at least find a pharmacy.

OK, got a possible convoy (or at least a posse) organized for the Sunday ride (Hudson, Taff, Achiu, and possibly Barabus). Here is the timing and details for anyone still on the fence:

Taff/Hudson Meet at Triple X in Issaquah at 8 a.m., then motor to Phinney Ridge area to pick Achiu (and maybe Barabus), then up to B.C. probably via large parts of Hwy 9, then lunch in BC, then back to Bellingham, Chuckanut Drive route to Deception Pass, down thru Whidbey, and Mulkilteo Ferry over to Seattle side.

Guessing we'd be home 4-5ish p.m.

Weather should be ideal, high 50's low 60's.

Will plot out a GPS route and download to the current posse, pm me if you are interested in joining all or part.

Marcus gave me a call I think I can make it , I do not know of anything that has to be done Sunday. Sounds like a good ride and nice day. It was windy a few days back and a lot of branches were in the roads, but i suspect it will be clear by then.

I'd love to join you guys if I didn't already have plans for Sunday. Be careful on Chuckanut. There has been a lot of debris reports from other riders that I know.

I'm a maybe and will post up Saturday evening with an answer one way or the other. If I do join, I will have the route and will also make the 0800 meet in Issaquah. I am also looking forward to playing with my GMRS via PTT through my Starcomm. Sounds like a great day for a test.

Reamer, I am visiting Auburn on Saturday to diagnose my PTT and get my Starcomm set up for bike2bike. Holler if you want to join.
