Most likely Doug!! I know I got sick and tired of rebuilding Rays.

Not sure if it was overuse, or the damned knotted up hair on the Sasquatch!

You guys sure have the focus on my *** but the surgery was on the plumbing getting there. It does appear that the intake and exhaust a hooked up properly. Won't be ready for a full function test for a couple weeks.:) :) :) :)

Glad to hear they were able to reattach the plumbing. Having an exhast valve sticking out of your belly is not ideal.

Really glad to hear you went home today! I hope they didn't find anything unusual while in there doing the work. I mean, other than that set of keys you swallowed on a bet in 1972 or a stale pretzel or two.

Try and take it easy for a week or so and don't drive your honey too crazy. I suspect you'll be up and about doing things not recommended by Yamaha, science in general and certain not the surgeon general, in no time at all.

Huh? Whatcha doing in the meantime?
DC, somethings are better not knowing.
Being very very careful.

In reality recovery is going well and everything seems to function as designed. Haven't done any pain meds in days and am in the shop doing light weight stuff on the evil KZ1300.

It will be a couple weeks before I try to ride. I think I could ride now but if the bike tried to fall and I tried to stop it things could be ugly and the wrath of Patti isn't worth chancing .

Ohhh.. the wrath of Patti... me thinks you are on the right track.. stay low, heal up, don't push it.

...and the evil KZ1300 can wait. BTW, I like that name!

Glad to see a little surgery hasn't screwed with your sense of priority. #1 Don't piss off Patti. # 2, have fun with **** in the shop.

Glad you're doing well enough to not need the pain meds Ray. You're a tough old goat, but don't forget that the meds are there. Sometimes it's worth it to do the dirty and enjoy the sleep.

Had the follow up with my doctor today. Pathology report was clean as a whistle and he says recovery is doing just fine. Should be ready to ride soon. I guess I'm done here.
