It has been posted in another section that you should bring rain gear. I say it's a good idea but more than likely we will have decent weather.

While we do not have a large number of door prizes we have a few pretty good items to give away like a Fuzeblock donated by the manufacterer, gift certificates from newenough.com as well as an FJR flask donated by me and a few other items. Gregory has put together a raffle for a SWFOG 2009 plaque made by Bustanut Joker. The proceeds will benefit N2OSX, a forum member who is recovering from a crash.

I look forward to meeting with and riding with all of you.

See you in Page.

And once again, they discriminate against we poor Irish! Like the sign in London's Hyde Park in the Year 1900: "Dogs must be on leash at all times and No Irish Allowed!" Come on Badcat Burk, Old Michael promises to behave himself; moderately!!

Not sure how the hell that happened...and I promise nothing evil took place other than bad formatting. But yes OLD MICHAEL is welcome and will be attending SWFOG 2009. That brings the total to 26 and one brain dead BadCat. Irish always allowed as long as they have whiskey!

My sincere apologies Old Michael...please forgive me. :superstition:

Oh for pete's sake, whoever the hell pete is, I missed putting on Wetdog and his spouse on the list too. Too much catnip for this one....sorry. Did I miss anyone else??? I updated the missing names on the list and hopefully didn't dump anyone. Cut and paste is too much for me to handle.

Any Zonies interested in group ride up to Page from Phoenix?? According to MapQuest it's 4.5 hours and 280 miles of riding.

If Fairlaner was leading it would only take us 3 hours! Badcat: What time did you want to arrive? Maybe depart PHX 0530??
I will be staying in Surprise, AZ on the 23rd. I am interested but will wait to see when you are leaving PHX on the 24th. I may not want to rise at 4:00AM after a day of riding from San Diego.

cometman: It'll be Badcat's call as to when we leave on Thursday, September 24th. He's The Cisco Kid and I'm just Pancho!

I caused all this fuss so I wanted to be at the hotel by 10:30 or 11am to greet riders coming in. That makes my departure time around 5:30 am which leaves a little time for breakfast in Flagstaff. 6 to 6:30 am departure without a breakfast stop. There is a Chevron (I think) near the McDonalds at Carefree Highway and I-17 we that would be a good start point. Discuss.

No problem. I will be leaving later because I will be staying up late with me friends. No worries, thanks Badcat you have done a great job. See you in the early afternoon in Page. U too Beemerdons. However, if my friends are not accommodating you will see me sleeping on my bike at the McD's. Honk and I will catch up. Just Kidding! I forgot I will be in AZ. Got to keep the speed reasonable.

Don't forget all you out of Staters, we have SPEED CAMERAS EVERYWHERE!

Mobile ones too! They put up a warning sign that sits right at ground level, right lane only.

they are set to flash at 11 over, so ya takes your chances!

No takers from Texas, eh? Man, I really, really want to go to this...but I would need to ride some pretty hard miles there (leave Wednesday night, arrive Thursday early evening sometime). Then a pretty intense ride leaving very early Sunday morning or Saturday night (I need to get back for work on Monday).

Still, I am tempted...

Regards,

Davy
