I have new sprockets and chain for Trevor's Kawasaki Ninja 650R. Is there anyone who would like to guide Trevor through the replacement process? The only thing I'm concerned about is the bike doesn't have a center stand and I can't bring along the rear bike stand. Any thoughts? No biggie if it can't be done this weekend, Trevor and I can tackle it over the Winter. Just a thought. If nothing else, Trevor is bringing along good weather.

As I've said before, it's never rained when he attends an event. I'm sure one day he will pay for all that.

There's this big fella coming with me and maybe another Canuck, then there's the Marine...... all do sprocket bikes, sure we can walk you through it..... maybe the Geek has a skyhook we could hang the bike from.........

Wow Ray! That would be awesome. Thanks so much. He really does need the chain and sprockets replaced. The previous owner didn't maintain the chain properly.

Believe it or not, Trevor and I have to stop on the way home to look at a bike for my wife. She is going to start riding again. I found a red Honda CTX700 DCT ABS. The seat height should work for her as she is only 5'1". She can ride it as an automatic or manual trigger shifter with no clutch. Lisa previously rode a Burgman 400. She's feeling left out with Trevor and I riding all the time.

No worries. I have a jack and the Iron Pony has motorcycle lifts on clearance so I bought one of those earlier this week. We'll be fine.

I really wish I was making this...but my spidey-sense told me that my anniversary was going to be better spent with my wifey.

Well, back in January we bought tickets to a play at the Shaw Festival for our anniversary and booked a BnB for Saturday night. Not that we wouldn't have a blast at the Geeks' but it might be a tad more romantic with just the two of us. And I was just looking at KJ's RTL/RTE...we're booked for something else already that weekend too! I really want to ride at least one more time before it gets really ugly, but I feel time slipping away from me.

SteveG and I will be riding around in SE Ohio, so I'll be showing up late afternoon tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing some FJR folks since I missed EOM.

I plan on arriving around 10 AM. I figure most of the hangovers will be cured by then. Bike is packed with chain, sprockets, and all the fork stuff. See you tomorrow.

Ray & I made a stop at the border to collect critical supplies....

The Great White North Liberation Army created a beachhead in Marysville, OH by mid-afternoon and started stockpiling for the siege...

Forty Creek and Almond Joys are all we need to fuel the invasion force.

We immediately annexed the Casa del Andy as sovereign Canadian soil...

OK, Billy with his "supplies" and that hat are enough to make me laugh, but there's just something about Ray and that whirl-a-gig in his hand that just ain't right!

The carnage has begun....

Andy already stipped a bolt taking the fender off. Ray made him sit in the corner while we took the forks off. We left the bolts on the ground for Andy to kick around the garage and lose half of them.

We finished taking off the forks on Andy's bike so rather than do anything constructive we decided to start drinking....

Data (Dave) had brought a bottle of Sotol....

and unlike FYB we have a 24mm wrench.

We used the wrench to get the cap off the bottle.

I knew I forgot something. Anybody have some spare wheel balance weights?

If not, I'll swing by Iron Pony. It looks like a short hop from Tech Day Central.
