I have some spare wheel weights (steel). I don't want to give up my private stock of lead weights.

Is it just me or is Ray looking guilty? I heard Ray trying to get the fork apart and I asked him if he took the circlip out since I didn't see it on the bench.

First attempt at a FJR event of any kind and I'm a no-show! Canine issues thru the night have altered my plans for today. Have a good time!

A few of you asked for the recipe for that Pizza bread we had for lunch so here it is:

Pizza pull-apart bread

2 14-oz cans Pillsbury pizza dough or Grands biscuits

2 cups shredded Mozzarella

1/2 tbsp basil leaves

1/2 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp fresh minced garlic

1/3 cup olive oil

1 8-oz package pepperoni, cut into quarters

1 cup Parmesan

Preheat oven to 350. Spray a Bundt pan with cooking spray.

Cut pizza dough or biscuits into quarters

Add all ingredients in bowl and toss together so that the oil is spread evenly on each piece of dough

Bake in oven for 30 mins or until the top is set and center is cooked. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.

Flip over onto a plate and serve warm. Serve with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping if desired.

ENJOY!!

I'm bummed I missed this. I need to have my valves checked so if anyone else nearby has done this before, PM me! Sounds like it was a blast as usually, even that crotchety Barry was not around.

It's right next to the Magnetic CA Maple Leaf Badges that screwed up my Bimmer, Ray just doesn't look right or normal without Bustanut joker right behind his ***! JSNS!

Thanks to our gracious hosts Andy and Soozie!

You guys picked the perfect day for a ride down to Columbus. It really was a great riding with blue skies and sunshine! Well maybe Trevor had something to do with that.

Soozie thanks for providing lunch and that Pizza bread was delicious!

Andy my wife has already put the "door prize" to good use. She says it works just fine!

I originally planned on swapping out my tires before my Florida trip. But I'm a grandpa "Candy Butt Rider" and even with 10,000 miles on my set of Roadsmart II's, most everyone agreed I can milk another 3,000 miles out of them. (From what I understand, Wayne probably could have burned them up before getting to the end of Andy's driveway.)

Bill the bike handles much better after you dialed in the suspension. I'm very pleased with the ride especially over bumps.

Wayne handled flushing my old clutch and brake fluid. Clutch is much easier to pull now.

It was really nice spending the afternoon with you guys!

After I left, I stopped over to see my brother in Reynoldsburg before making it home safely.

Aaaand.... Tech Day XI is a wrap. The folks that stayed overnight are all on their way home.

We woulda setup streaming video but, well, I got kinda sidetracked and promptly forgot. I'll try to remember to set that up next time.

All the bikes that rode in rode out. Thanks to RaYzerman for rebuilding my forks for me - I really appreciate it!

Sooze and I had a blast hosting. And I wanna thank Sooze for keeping us well-fed.

I didn't really take any pictures but I have 500+ from my wildlife cam. I'm uploading 'em now. Once they're uploaded, I'll post a few.

Trevor and I made it home safely. Thanks Andy and Sooze for your hospitality. We had a great time. If you continue the Tech Day tradition, we will be back. For that reason, maybe you won't continue the tradition.

Thanks to Ray for rebuilding my forks and showing me how quickly the gen 2 bushings wear out. The gen 1 bushings last so much longer. LOL

Thanks to Bill (Yamafitter) for changing Trevor's chain and sprockets. And thanks for bleeding my brake lines. I can slow down now if I ever want to. Brakes feel great.

It was great seeing old friends and really old friends. And really old people who might be a friend one day. And some younger people who said they had friends.

Can't wait to do it all over again.

Time for some pitchers. Ignore the date / time stamps - I obviously didn't set the time properly in the camera.

The Canadian Invasion Force arrived Friday. In a Dodge. Go figure.

They made themselves at home and made sure everyone knew they were there.

The first FJR to arrive was Dave (Data) who brought a tent and set up in the back yard.

We took the front forks off my bike in prep for rebuilding 'em. And may have drank a few beverages made for adults.

Saturday morning, we had a Sasquatch wandering around. Or it was yamafitter with his DSLR.

Jeff (FJRPittsburgh) rolled in also for a fork rebuild.

Dave was the next to arrive. He rolled up from southern Ohio.

We did a bit of this.

Next in was Steve (pista).

Carl (ckuhns) and his BMW-riding friend Benson had rolled in as well as Wayne and Julie.

To Jeff's disbelief, his son rolled in without calling for directions.

Eventually my forks were wrapped up and Trevor (FJRPittsburgh's son) rolled his bike into the garage where it was strung up from the garage rafters fore a new sprocket and chain. I stayed as far from the endeavor as possible and you can't really see it from this angle, but that's what was happening in the garage.

Pista bled his brakes but didn't change his tires.

Random picture.

New sprocket & chain installed, Trevor rolled his bike outta the garage and work began on FJRPitteburgh's forks.

Several folks assisted pista so that 'fitter could dial-in his suspension settings.

It was getting into the afternoon and Carl & Benson headed out.

Next to head out was pista.

Random picture.

Random picture.

After a dinner of grilled burgers and brats (thanks, Wayne, for helping out with the grilling duties) by the fire, Wayne rolled his bike in the garage and Julie packed up for the ride home.

Jeff (FJRPittsburgh) and his son headed to their hotel.

We milled aboot a bit before buttoning up the garage for the evening and retiring to the patio and the fire pit.

This morning, the visitors get their stuff packed and loaded. Wayne was the first out.

RaYzerman and 'fitter headed out next. The driveway just looks so ... empty all of a sudden.

Dave was the last one out.

It was a pleasure for us to open our house and host Tech Day XI. Stay tuned - who knows where the next one will be...

I've never seen such a detailed picture documentary of an event from one camera angle. Well, there was the Zapruder film from back in th '60s. Well done Andy.

We made one quick stop before heading back across the border to pick up something very special....

I'm not going to waste any of this golden nectar on that drunken Irishman, BeemerDons since when it comes to whiskey he drinks that Jameson crap and would drink whiskey that a Scotsman pissed in.

After dropping off Ray earlier in the day, I finally made it back to Beautiful Downtown Bowmanville . Before I left Ray I made sure the old man went straight to bed since you people had him working all weekend and he was completely worn out. I finally rolled in to my casa at 20:30 and will probably call it an early night.

Many thanks to BikerGeek and Sooze for being the gracious hosts in their new home. Sooze made sure that we were kept well fed and hydrated throughout the weekend. Andy helped by not touching Ray's tools. Also thanks to all those that attended for making it a fun weekend.

I want to roll the FJR out tomorrow and head up to Algonquin Park for some leaf peeping....
