Well I've got the rocket all shined up and ready to go...I've even gone ahead and ordered the "Backoff" with 6" LED for the farkle outlined on FJRTech.

Despite all the updates to the "players" map and a peruse through the raw data...I don't seem to be able to find me.

What am I doing wrong??? :(

I also tried to upload a better avatar and got denied...do I need to be more active at posting before that gets enabled???

I'd appreciate some administrator help on those two issues...thanks.

Sherri and I finally signed up :)

My bike isn't the cleanest, most farkled, highest mileage, or anything else. It may be the most damaged without having gone down due to no fender extender (yet) and due to my riding pants screwing up the sides of my tank. But I doubt it.

What is my bike? The most enjoyed? Nah, there are plenty of FJR riders that know the heart and sole of riding. What is my bike? Mine and I like it just like that!

:D

Man...and I'm not even drunk!

Crap!! just registered with you guys since I purchased a 2005 FJRT this very day. Then I see your shindig is in Reno In July. Exactly the same dates a s the Star Days Rally in Longmont CO. I'm a member of the Star Touring and Riding Club in Spokane, WA. Wish the dates were consecutive weekends so I could do both. Maybe I'll catch you guys at the next one.

Where are your priorities man? I'm missing an unlimited hydroplane race that I haven't missed since 1992 and been to maybe all but 4 years in the past 37 for this thing. Yamaha's there as a FACTORY PRESENCE! This is going to be THE FJR EVENT OF THE YEAR!

Your fellow Spokanite, H Marc, who doesn't even have an FJR anymore is coming too.

Ack! A BMW in our midst? Sacrilege!

There are do's & dont's for everything....as in DO go to WFO 05....& don't sweat missing something else....SEE.... real easy :D

Hey!

I'm bringing a friend & he rides an 1150RT.

Y'all be nice to him & show him we're a nicer crowd than those boxer brains !

Friends don't let friends ride BM :( woops. Thats HD isn't it. Oh well, he's welcome then.

My only caveat would be that if I was coming west across Utah and Nevada, I'd probably do that the night before WFO5 begins.
Iffin I were acomin' from the Mid West, I'd surely like to mosey on through North Dakoter, amble into Montanny, pick some spuds in Idaho bafers adroppin' down ta Nevadi. Might be missin' some of thot thar Ju-lye heat yer be finding further down. ;)
LOL...all the people that talk like that moved to Bakersfield during the dust bowl years!

I emailed the event coordinators because I paid but was not listed on the map, am I supposed to get something in the mail or email too?

When I went through the processes the map listing was separate from the reg. Maby its changed.

Just sign up on the website. Lack of map presence does not indicate anything. And just wait for further instruction. July is a long ways away.

I just got off the phone with the Reno Hilton. The block of rooms still hasn't happened yet, but the Fri and Sat rate has increased from $129 to $149. :(

I made my reservations without problem after registering. They knew who I was with and when it was happening or at least they pretended they did and thats good enough for me.

Try it again .............................

I 've got some issues:

1) We signed up (paid our $20) and did not get our advertised $79 per night because the block of rooms are sold out. No other block of rooms were negotiated in a timely manner. The Reno Hilton is sold out, I'm told.

2) As an alternative, I negotiated with the Siena Hotel for a block of rooms at a reduced rate that Warchild needs to sign and return by April 11th to get a reduced rate. Still waiting.......

3) The "who is coming map" is way overdue for up dating.

Who is driving this ship (event?) Hello. Nobody is responding to my PM emails to these issues. Are you on vacation? Rant, rant, rant  :assasin: :( :erm:

Since all of those involved are admins on this board, I suspect they are a little busy trying to reconstruct this place.

Don't get me wrong but I have taken that into consideration. A simple curtesy acknowledgement, like "I have received your email re: your concerns and appreciate you taking the time to negotiate a block of rooms at the Seina Hotel at a reduced rate but if we can't get to reviewing the contract, sign it and return it to Seina Hotel by April 11st, tuff ****!" :beee:

You all will have to fend for youselves and pay the higher prices"

That's all I ask. Short and simple. <_< <_< <_<

Relax, Pegscraper. Go for a ride and breath deep.

We are working on a number of issues with the Reno Hilton right now, rooms are only one of them. When we have news to share, we will.

Ahhhhhh! I needed that. :)

I rode the bike to work this morning. It's wet but not raining. I was getting cabin fever with all this damn rain, rain, rain. Might as well be living in Seattle.

But if the Reno Hilton is full up, can the Seina Hotel be a backup for the group block I negotiated, but still pending?
