Are you still going to trailer the FJR out to Reno?  I'm in Jefferson City and might want to join you...
TRAILER? Sacrilege, blasphemers....But hey, you could always drag 'em by Sturgis on the way home, maybe pick up some good chrome ideas too. ;) Maybe we could even arrange for some inside parking for the trailer. You'd never even have to unload 'em. :D

How about and update on the WFO-5 Players board???? ;)
Should be done in the next few days. Warchild is giving me an updated list so I can go cross reference cities with lat. and long. coordinates. GoogleMaps is great, but doesn't read raw city information.

Any chance we can get a list like we had last year? Some areas of the map are very crowded, making it hard to read. :cownoy:

I'll be offsetting people in the same area...and will provide an alternate link to the raw data on the next iteration.

Map is now updated. Multiple people from the same city (ie. Portland, LA, etc.) are artifically spaced by 0.02 latitude and/or longitude. They won't be seperated at the national zoom level, but you get closer to the city level and there will be resolution.

If you want the raw data source for the map points, try here

I saw the dups and left them (there's more than him BTW). He either registered twice or it's a significant other under his name. Better to be there more than once than not at all.

I see Prince Rupert is not on the map??? That's ok I am used to it. I want to be sure though if I am registered since I did receive a confirmation and pay my $10.00. If you need to pinpoint Prince Rupert it is in Northwestern BC just about 20 miles south of Alaska.

Just wondering where the centre of the universe ends ha ha.

Oops. I think I spoke prematurely. I did give Warchild the file and he should update by today.....I think. When he does, I can confirm that you and Prince Rupert are on the list. I did the Candadians by hand and put you at 54.3144, -130.31862.

We know he will be starting his ride on the rain.....(for those who don't know Prince Rupert it is only sunny about 20 days a year!)

As a side note I am also not on the map.

Alrighty,

All registered and motel reservations made, can't hardly wait. Reno is a great town, was down there last year for the SuperMoto races, lots o' fun.

Coming from Portland, I will most likely run down 101 to Brookings or maybe Eureka then head east, spending the night somewhere before rolling into town on Thursday.

Bill

Well Cripes you guys. I just read throug the thread and there are folks with nice long rides to complete to get to Reno. I'm really bumed! I only have a few hours to ride from Berkeley. I'm envious. Maby I can ride in circles for a bit before I get there. Yep I'm bored and it will be a long wait till July! :dribble:
