HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Go Bruins!!!! 4-0 shutout! First cup in 39 years. yahoo! :yahoo:
This is what makes all of you Massholes so charmingly endearing, you are such a truly humble group of Cocksuckers!!!

Congratulations Boston Bruins. they played hard, well and they persevered. All in all, great hockey no matter your team!

The Bruins did an excellent job. When they won, they won big. The Canuckleheads always won by one point. Last night the Canuckleheads played bad hockey, they didn't want to win. Luongo scored a goal against himself, which is equivalent to running yourself over.

Great job by the Bean towners, well deserved. ;)

I've kinda been following this thread. Correct me if I'm wrong, please. But for each series, did OM select a team to root for, boldly predict that team's success and then have the team he picked lose in EVERY one of those series??

It's no wonder they won't let him back into Canada.

I doubt it was 'locals' signing 'Oh Canada' in Boston. Most Maritimers from Canada support the Bruins since the Bruins are the 'East Coast' team and no Maritimer would ever be caught dead supporting a team from New York City. It was probably those Maritimers in the crowd signing our anthem.

As far as Boston fans being friendly, tell that to the Montreal Canadians. I'm sure they could use a good laugh about now.

Wearing a Yankee jersey in Boston is a good way to get yourself killed :dead:
Even years ago when I went to the old Gahden to watch Bruins hockey, many sang both anthems. I never heard boos for a national anthem -- ever.

As for Canadians and Yankee fans, I don't condone physical violence. But shunning and razzing are ALWAYS acceptable. :p

Ah well, must suck not being a Boston sports fan the past few years -- not much opportunity to get Championships in other cities. (written with a grin on my face.)

Well that and his IRA affiliation!

I don't understand the fan base either.

I don't understand the game much though.

I don't understand why people watch this so-called sport.

After looking at the Canadian fans response I wonder how far apart hockey and soccer really are?

Oh, congrats Bruins, next time for the Canadians?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-13788491 Careful there Don Boy, those nasty ass Vancouver fans may come down to Kali to beat your ass up for that statement. Jeez Marie, what ever happened to the polite and genteel Canadians we all know and love?

Son of a Gun, we may have to send our US Diplomat rushes up from Arkansas to teach you Canuckians some civility and good manners. Those Canucks fans acted like a pack of mad Goobers!

Right on the money there, Mr. Carver. Hockey is to Canada what soccer football is to the rest of the world.

Talk about yer silly sports, take a close look at the big three here in the US: Baseball, Basketball and (the granddaddy of rule ridiculousness) American football.

One could make the argument that none of these are athletics. They are games. Athletic sports are events where the outcome is decided primarily by the capabilities of the participants, not by their ability (or inability) to adhere to the game's rules. Look at what is called "Athletics" in the Olympics...

Are you happy now Fred?
Yeah, I am. There were some outstanding games in Vancouver (games in Beantown were all one sided). And even in the less outstanding games there were some good periods. But if the Bruins had lost it I would have got over it pretty quickly. I sure wouldn't be out rioting in the streets.

Jus' sayin'...

My beloved Bruins did it. Slapped Montreal around, swept the broad street bums, sent the floriduh boys back to the sunshine and showed the Canucks what Bruins hockey is all about. Good luck next year to Thelma & Louise and the rest of the embellishment boys.. Bwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Correction: He's welcome in Nunavut.

Where the hell is Nunavut? Do hockey fans riot there?

I have taken the brown paper bag off my head long enough to watch the disgusting riot and was amazed at what I saw! Numerous 'fans' trying to protect property from the goons with some being beaten for their efforts. The next day, several thousand volunteers were downtown cleaning up as best they could while voicing their digust for the barbaric stupidity of the rioters. Yes, Vancouver has a very black eye, but there must be some good folks down there as well. ( possibly some western Canadians helping the eastern Vancouver types)

All you 'leo' types will enjoy this....Countless goofs were filmed in very clear video doing their acts and hundreds of cell phone pictures were sent to police to help id the a**holes in action!

Finally, now that hockey is over, football begins! I do not like the Comical Football League so ...are you ready...Go Patriots Go!! :yahoo:

Congrats to the Bruins! I got to watch the end of the last game and it didn't look like the Canucks wanted to play. There goalie looked shell shocked at the end of the game IMHO. Hard to believe that Thomas went to school and played hockey in Vermont (UVM)! Thomas and St. Louis (another UMV grad) make the NHL worth watching.

Tom

...Also I stand by my earlier statement about the Curse of OM. The Curse of the Bambino pales in comparison to the hex OM put on the Habs, Sharks & the Canucks due to OM's faulty prognostications.
'fitter, I am CERTAIN that you'll never suffer from a urinary tract infection. I'm betting on it!

I'm DOOMED!!!
Yes you are.
