Wow!! What a game.

Tip of the cap to Vancouver.

The B's let down in the 3rd period and looked like they ran out of steam. They were on the heels and just trying to get into overtime.

I don't think any of them are used to playing at that pace for 3 periods.

Regardless of the outcome, I sure hope the remaining games are as intense as that second period was.

Long live the Turk!!

OM always had a thing for guys with mustaches...

I own an FJR, I can't afford cable etc, to watch this, when's it on regular TV?
Ok, so like Beemerdons said, I'm a little misguided.... I just found out it was on NBC, CRAP! :dribble:
Game 2, 5-7 are also on NBC, I'll be sure to watch the nail biting games (pun intended). ;)

You think that's old. I watched Derek Sanderson play Junior A in Niagara Falls. Doesn't make me a stinky Bruins fan though.

If it wasn't for Thomas the game would have been over in the first minute.

GO CANUCKS

Great Hockey, enjoyed every minute of it! Am I going to get bit when I ride to CFR? I have always known that Canadians are as kinky as a cheap garden hose, but really: Biting?

Oh and Bluesy, if you want to watch the Stanley Cup Finals, come on over to my house. I get the game clear and loud with rabbit ear antennas on NBC affiliate 12 here in PHX!

Oh come on... You bruins haters (at least the ones that figured out how to operate their TVs  ) have to admit that the second period last night was awesome. I've never seen professional players play with such continuous intensity for so long. Fore-checking like they meant it, finishing every check, constant back and forth. It was so intense, it was like watching amateur hockey, but with more skilled players!!

Yeah, Thomas is a house. He is the primary reason that the B's have made it this far. Last time I checked he was part of the team, so I guess that's OK. And it's not like Luongo didn't see any decent shots on him. He made some stellar saves of his own.

You can be as partisan as you want. But you have to admit that last nights game was a good one. You don't get a good game with one bad team. ;)

By the way, I don't hate the Bruins; I hate the fecking Red Sox with a purple passion, The ******* *****!
WHAT? Oh my god.

Now you've gone too far. I'm sorry... I used to think you were an OK (if slightly goobery) fella, but I can no longer associate with you, Mr Stanley. :nono:

Next thing you'll be talking about how great the Yankees are!

Take heart Fred, I loathe, hate and thoroughly detest the New York Yankees even more than the Boston Red Sox.

My Sister Marsha and I are lifetime California Angels fans, Angel Stadium is just a mile from our childhood home.

We used to ride our bicycles to the games back in the Gene Autry ownership days. Grew up with the CA Angels!

Having lived in Arizona for 22 years and with being a Diamondbacks season ticket holder, also a huge D-backs fan.

I think they need to start shrinking the goalie pads. Everything is huge now! No scoring and 95% save percentages sucks. They talk about it being a defensive battle, but there were almost 70 shots total - that's not good defense, that's all goalie. They block almost half the net just standing there.

Good point!!

On the same note, "they" (whoever the hell "they" are) need to raise the basket in NCAA and NBA hoops. Hell, even Middle School kids can dunk the ball these days. Basketball isn't a game anymore....its a gymnastics exhibition.

I think NBA should go full contact, and stop all of these freaking fouls.

They should go street ball rules, no blood - no foul.

Go Bruins!! Thomas rules, Luongo drools!! Lou didn't even see half the pucks, and if it wasn't for the team in front of him.... Good game though, wasn't what I was expecting, and a goal with 19 seconds to go is just a killer.
