I forgot to post that I went to game 6 at the Joe, and while I have been at some extremely loud sporting events, that one was the loudest I've been to. Well, now we know the Wings were just a little too banged up and tired, and a goal short. Still the best team to watch where every player is good and not just one or two stars...

Congrats are in order to the Sharks, hope they move on to the big one!! I do predict Lord Stanley's Cup is going to stay in the west!!

On a similar vein, out of curiosity, why do people from other areas of the country hate the Boston sports teams so much? Not just the Bruins, but the Celtics and especially the Pats too, who are arguably New England's most successful sports franchise. I mean, it's not like they are from New York or something...

The only Boston team that gets any love outside of New England is the Red Sox. And in that case it is just the opposite, almost to the point of being ridiculous. For many Red Sox away games the stands look like they are at home. Sometimes I am embarrassed for the home teams.
