Vancouver still has the best pot though. Given the way the Sedins played I think they were pullin' on the bong in the dressing room.

Thomas was definitely the difference and the Vancouver power play went to sleep. Eight goals total in a seven game series is a total embarrassment.

Small wonder the fans rioted. You can now see what it takes to piss off a Canadian.

I heard booing during the US national anthem on more than one occasion, and then more booing from the restless crowd during the cup presentation ceremonies after game 7? Hey Canuck fans, your team sucked in this series. Get over it.

Contrast the pregames in Boston where many of the locals actually sang "Oh Canada". The only time there was any fan animosity toward the opposing team was after one of the (many) cheap plays.

I had always heard that Canadians pride themselves on being a kinder gentler society? Now I can understand the frustration of having a franchise that comes up short of the championship on multiple occasions, (after all I'm a Red Sox fan ) but it was very surprising to me to see that the Canuck fans could be such poor-sports.

I doubt it was 'locals' signing 'Oh Canada' in Boston. Most Maritimers from Canada support the Bruins since the Bruins are the 'East Coast' team and no Maritimer would ever be caught dead supporting a team from New York City. It was probably those Maritimers in the crowd signing our anthem.

As far as Boston fans being friendly, tell that to the Montreal Canadians. I'm sure they could use a good laugh about now.

Wearing a Yankee jersey in Boston is a good way to get yourself killed :dead:

If Borrows would have bitten and the other tard would have cheap shot Horton you probably would have been skating the cup. Instead your burning cars, breaking windows and acting like Laker fans after a big win or loss. That's an awfully big paint brush you got there. We put the Rockies up just to keep all the nutbars over on the west side. There are big cannons in Rogers Pass. We let people think its for avalanche control but their actually to make sure the nutbars stay on their side. I would also be careful about who your calling classless. The Bruins didn't exactly exhibit exemplary behavior during the playoffs. But they won the cup and in the end they earned it the old fashion way, with great goaltending and lots of hustle.

Next year if Buffalo can get some goal scorers it will be the Sabres turn. They already have great goaltending.

I don't care if the Leafs ever will the Cup. Rotten ownership that don't care about putting a winning team on the ice since they will fill the building with Leaf fans for the next 100 years.

Just one last tidbit of info for you while your in your 'Blame Canada' mode. There are more Canadian born players on the Bruins than there are on the Canucks.
