I'm liking the Canadian Rocky pics!...however I really, really, really don't get the whole riding around with a stuffed "teddy bear" thang. Wow.
You and me are on the same page there, Roller boy. :D

Having travelled with Bill last fall from SE Ohio to Kentucky (the long way), my guess is that Bill needs a drinking buddy at the end of the day after the ride is over.

You would have to ask Hudson who was the one that brought the bear to NAFO. HiddieBear just asked me for a ride to go visit his cousins up in Hyder, AK. Being a polite and helpful Canadian I couldn't turn him down. That plus the fact that Carver triple dog dared me to do it on a beer bet.

Don't ever triple dog dare me on a beer bet.

I won't be settling for for any of that Coors Light swill that he was drinking either. I wouldn't even wash my bike with that.

Huddie was missing his main hole when I found him drooped over Wabs, under the cover, Mr. Bear-Molestor Hudson!

Oh, the Coors light is what HuddieBear was drinking when he got lost trying to find his hotel room and stumbled across Hudson's path. The rest is history! ;)

Not so fast there Kimosabi.

I'm Canadian, and by birthright, and genetics, I'm an expert on all things beer, and beer related. That being said, I wash my neighbours harley ALL the time using only recycled Coors Light. I once saw a bug on it, I think somebody must've swatted it while the bike was parked. But I'll tell you, nothing takes a bug off faster than a hot stream of Coors Light.

Bud works well too, 'cept it stains the chrome.

Enjoying this RR very much.

Sounds like you were in Kamloops the day I was struggling home from Castlegar. Sorry I wasn't here to help.

Al.

Recycled Coors Light applied hot with the proper Canadian additives may be useful. However, I stand by my previous statement that Coors Light as supplied in the can from the brewery is pretty much useless.

Yah, but... To make this Hardley washing plan work one has to actually drink the vile stuff. :puke:

Did anyone imbibe some Tall Timber Ale out of Revelstoke? Dave turned me on to that stuff back in 2009...that was some tasty stuff. :clapping:

HuddieBear Goes Fishing

I'm currently sitting in my friend's living room getting ready to hit the hot tub with HuddieBear out on the deck. Most of ride today was long & straight across the plateau between the Rockies & the Coastal Ranges. There were a few hills early in the morning off in the distance ...

After two hours I had my first coffee stop in Prince George ...

IMG0770-L.jpg

I needed a bio-break and it was time for lunch and there just happened to be another Timmy's along the way. Only in Canada you say ...

IMG0771-L.jpg

These two photos were taken 200 km apart. I can tell because the colour of the table top is different. We Tim Horton"s connoisseurs know these things.

I also needed to stop at some of the rest stops along the way since it stayed a little on the cool side today. The rivers up this way are just as full as the rivers around Castlegar ...

DSC0008-L.jpg

I wasn't in a big hurry today so I took time to smell the flowers ...

I had been riding through a few light sprinkles caused by some of the mountain rain shadows and was starting to get wet so it was time to go.

HuddieBear was mentioning about going fishing with his Brown Bear Cousins when he gets to Hyder. I too\ld him he was going to have to learn to fish without the pole ...

DSC0019-L.jpg

As we started to get back into the mountains there was a nice lookout overseeing a lake ...

DSC0012-L.jpg

and just outside of Smithers I came across the local motocross track that I had to check out ...

From there it was short ride to my friends place. He wasn't back from work yet but had left the house open for me and I got the bike unloaded and went into the town on the reserve for supplies. The beer store was open but the grocery store was closed. Nice to see they have there priorities straight. That's it for now. Tomorrow Sarah Palin is meeting HuddieBear and I for some bear hunting and Hyderization. Hopefully Sarah's aim is better than Dick Chaney's and I don't get mistaken for a Grizzly.

Here was today's route...

Some drinking partner. He only had a few Kokanees ....

Next thing he's falling face first into the hot tub ...

I had to prop the drunken souse up to get his picture ...

DSC0003-L.jpg

This sorry drunkard has spent too much time in the States drinking Coors Light and can't handle even a rather light weight beer by Canadian standards.

I do believe that a Photo Shop adding Bustanut joker to this picture is in the making as we speak! jes' sayin' and nuff' said!
