Heh.... no.So Warchild,
Are we going to see a new avatar? Something with the #185 on it now. Just curious. :dribble:
'Bout frickin' time you started showing up here, Roger! B)I know that color
Niiiice one Warchild -- rock on
Sure, it'll stay ad-free as long as we all contribute money to a Community Chest and ... oh,.... wait,....never mind, wrong forum......and hopefully it stays that way.
Thanks WC! The old one was a pain.Heh.... no.So Warchild,

At least, probably not here.... but maybe on the brand new R-1 forum that has just been stood up this month: https://www.r1messagenet.com/
The other long-time, well-established R-1 forum (r1-forum.com) is completely ate-up with a bazillion ads, banners, animations and ******** crap. It's too hard to deal with... the new R1 forum is clean and ad-free... just like this one!
Crap, that's hard on the eyes with the dark background and dim text.the brand new R-1 forum that has just been stood up this month: https://www.r1messagenet.com/
I was thinking the same thing.Crap, that's hard on the eyes with the dark background and dim text.the brand new R-1 forum that has just been stood up this month: https://www.r1messagenet.com/
Yes, it is, the default "skin" is "Plasma", one of three skins available at the moment. However, at the lower left corner of any page, you can select the "Ambience" skin, which is much more readable.... though the header image hasn't been made to look "R1-ish" yet.Crap, that's hard on the eyes with the dark background and dim text.
Nothing too fancy.... pretty much by the book, except I did do the initial oil/filter change at ~ 30 miles, and again at the normally scheduled 600-mile point. Staying with YamaLube 20W-40 until the next change at 4000 miles.WC, what was your break-in strategy with the R1?
I am going on a rather hefty IBR bonus verification run this weekend, and I'll have well, WELL over 1000 miles on the bike when I return. I'll write up my traditional "1000-mile Report" after that run....How about a ride report.
