I ordered from my local independent shop, however, and spent an extra $30.90 on cost and tax to support my local business. (I'll also have them mount them.) They are primarily a Harley shop, but they always treat me well.

Ordered a few days ago and received a set of Bridgestone BT023's from Jake Wilson for $227.98 + free shipping and a $50 rebate. After the discount $177.98! I hope to get 6-8k out of them like most other tires. I just put on a set of T30's and my last set were PR4's. Front PR4 was done at 6k and rear was pretty bald by 8k but I ran it another thousand.

My set of PR4 GT's from JW cost me the same as Pete, 337.98 total shipped. I install my own, so that's all.

Could have gotten PR2s for much less, but wanted to see what all the hoopla is about! So far, I'm VERY happy..

Vic, are you sure you got the correct tires? PR2's are currently $258.78 for a set.

I got the correct tires, Bob. My total price was $249.35 with free shipping.
EDIT! Oops, you're right, Bob. I touched the Pilot Power 2 button without realizing it for the rear. I researched and what I'm reading is that it's a great tire with all the attributes of the Pilot Road except it won't last as long. I'm expected to get 8-10k on it as opposed to 12-14k. Too late to change the order so, I'll just give it a try. Same performance except for the milage. It won't kill me.

Got a couple of PR2 rears for $140 a pop from Jake Wilson, discounted by my Wilson bux from my last purchase. Both son's and my bike need rears only. Looked at the PR4 briefly, but they want $190 each for them. Maybe when the price on those comes down after they come out with PR5's?
