BTDT - passed on the T-shirt, thank you very much. I wonder if the rider's high-beams are on and if he has some auxiliary lighting that might make him more visible?

In this situation, I shift over to the right side of the lane ahead of time. No doubt the ***** was tailgating just before the pass and tucked behind the trailer so close, he couldn't see very well. It's only a few degrees of angle on the other side of the lane, but every little bit helps.

Also, sometimes I swerve in my lane a little for oncoming traffic. I watch their front bumper for a dip (hitting the brakes or slowing down) or a shift (moving toward the shoulder). Either indicates that they are thinking "look at this ***** motorcycle swerving toward me!!!", which of course is taken as a compliment because I can confirm that they actually see me.

They're all out to kill us. Intentional or not, every one of them is a murderer.

This is my practice too. Whenever I see a large vehicle in the oncoming lane or a string of vehicles I'll lean over to the right wheel track to improve the sight angles. The way I figure, if I can't see that tailgating driver (even if I can see his left headlight winking out) he can't see me.

Yep. Me too. I also do the 'smidsy weave' I think the horizontal movement gets noticed more readily.
