Yep, for sure it's going to be tough and odds are the Hawks have the edge....... and no way I'd stay downtown...... however, visiting it Thursday nite, going to a bar a mile from the Joe with valet parking and shuttle service. I'll be the one drinking pops and helping to make noise.

The Wings have been building momentum ever since disproving they wouldn't make the playoffs.... they've got the mojo and the Hawks lost theirs....... still some hockey left, it ain't over until it's over.

So will the Bruins stop the Pens advance??

Game 6 tonight in Detroit will be AWESOME....Chicago is playing for their life and Detroit wants to close it out NOW!!!!

Can't wait for game time....going for a short ride on Ortega Highway now!

I can't talk smack cuz I gave up on them after game 4. Although the Detroit coach seemed delighted to have not closed out and extended the series to Game 7, I think it will be a rough game 7...one for the ages.

I think the Hawks will see all of the Redwings that they ever want to see.

It is never over until it's over......... it's all about who wants the puck more and who's willing to go after it. Refs will put their whistles away as much as they can..... could be good or bad for either team as the clutch and grab stuff will affect the game more..... who cares, gonna be a good one. No blowouts please.

Sure I wanted Detroit to close out Chicago in game 6 but now it'll make them look even better if they can win Game 7 in Chicago!

Congrats to the Hawks!

They made a great comeback as the Wings had their backs against the wall with a 3-1 series lead, but couldn't close them out.

Great series as both teams won 3 games in a row each but the Hawks were a little better team in the end.

Gotta' root for the KINGS now!!

Wheatie, this is the last time I help you blow up the tires and climb back on the Hawks bandwagon..... blew up the tires too hard methinks. Anyway, we're done! At the next Ohio Ramble I'm only going to let you buy me two beers instead of four! Go Hawks! And try to solve the mystery of Mr. Quick.... we need the Bruins to take out Sid and the Kids, so we can still have an Original Six final.

Alas, the best team did win, and they deserved it. I was doing some shopping today and wearing my usual Red Wings tee and hat, and one usually gets comments....... one guy says to me, "You still wearing that?" I said yep, I'm not like those Leaf fans that have all but disappeared..........." (not you, Rob!).

Anyway, lots of hockey left. I'm primarily a hockey fan who appreciates good hockey, so let's have some! Stakes are getting higher. Stanley Cup - hardest trophy to win in sport.
