twin cities as in msp or dfw? If msp....go wild...if dfw....go stars.....

Leo's has taken on the Moto Guzzi line. The Guzzi Norge, as well as other models will be available for "viewing" by tomorrow.
The Norway (norgejay) is one good looking machine. I saw one at the Guzzi dealer in NC today. First thing I did was twist the throttle. Oh my Gawd so light it was like a dream. About 99% lighter than my AE throttle. I really like my Guzzis - big torquey engine that feels and sounds like a real motorbike. Slowish compared to an FJR but I still love them.

The bike is beautifully proportioned and lite for an ST. It is finished better than a BMW and better looking too.

Dam I still like my Feejer. It is close. Lets put it this way. I wound not buy a BMW or ST1300 but I would buy one of these beautiful ladies if I did not own an FJR

I sat on the one at San Mateo. It feels light and though you sit deeper into the bike, it feels smaller than the FJR. It's probably more nimble, but I'd have to ride one to tell. If it wasn't for my love affair with my FJR, I could see the Guzzi. One of my friends has a LeMans with the Guzzi tour bags and loves it.

I was down there yesterday picking up my new Tuono. I looked at a few of the guzzi's. I had seen a few pictures of the Griso and thought it didn't look to bad. Holy Crap, is that pipe horrible!

By the way, They now have a nice used '05 FJR for sale.

I didn't ask, but that '05 looked like it had some mileage on it -- not that it would be all-bad....(to have some mileage).

Did you notice the 'Silver-Dammit' Concours there too?

I looked over the Guzzi 'Norge' -- something old, something new -- something borrowed, something ..... Actually, I guess?, I wasn't overly impressed -- probably just-right for someone other than me? Too, this is one bike that looks better in photographs than in real-life (imho).

I asked around (relatives, etc.) -- and found out that actual Norwegians pronounce their country's name "Norg-Uh". While the sales-persons at Leo's said Norje (like George).

I'd prefer the Breva 750 that was there -- if I was a foot shorter and weighed about half of what I actually weigh..... :dribble:

And, would love to be young enuff to actually consider riding the 'Priller RXV-550 they had hidden-away in the back room.

Aboslutely the 'skinny-est' seat I've ever seen on a motorcycle! Otherwise -- thoroughly modern...... :exhappysmiley:
