Just got off the phone with Ken - Blufjr

Ken went off the road yesterday, but is ok.

The incident happened yesterday while riding with Oface and Petey in eastern TN while riding during the EOM event.

Ken ran off the road, striking a post and landing back in the road. He sustained minor injuries to his ankle. He was treated and released yesterday, and has returned to the hotel in Wytheville. He is working on logistics for his return home. He has transpiration sorted back to Atlanta for his flight thanks to Jwilly and his wonderful significant other Sonya.

Also, huge appreciation for Mike and Wanda for taking the time to get Ken back to the hotel last night as well as helping with him picking up his gear.

I truly hope Ken and Marty are ok. It's always great when people step up to help. Like RFH, I'm too far away to physically help, but if funds are needed to get his bike back him, or whatever, let us know.

If I'd known there was an east TN rally I'd have gone. If he needs help with bike or pickup on the Atlanta end, pm me. I have a case of Red Bull and a trailer equipped with a bike chock. I am not afraid to use them.

Ken made it home, we should see an update from him once he gets settled.

A huge thank you to Mike (DSBiker) and his wonderful wife, Wanda for getting Ken back to the hotel Friday.

And another huge thank you to Jason (Jwilly) and his amazing girlfriend Sonya for going to check on Ken in Johnson City, and for Sonya (again) for getting Ken to the airport in Atlanta Sunday for his flight home.

Another demonstration of just how amazing this community really is...
